Part 29 - A Familiar Face

*The next morning*

*You get up and tell everyone to go to the meeting room*

Nat: "Do you know what's going on?"

Clint: "No idea"

*They all get to the meeting room*

Steve: "Well maybe I can answer that"

Nat: "Steve!"

*She runs over and hugs him*

Clint: "It's good to have you back, Cap"

Wanda: "Hey Steve, nice to see you"

Rhodey: "Welcome back"

Steve: "Thanks guys"

*As he pulls away from greeting Rhodey, he spots Tony*

Steve: "Stark"

Tony: "Cap"

"It's good to see you"

Steve: "You too"

*You smile when you see them shake hands*

*Sam walks in*

Sam: "Well if isn't the great Captain America"

Steve: "Sam, look I'm sorry I-"

Sam: "Nah, it's cool. Water under the bridge. Just glad you came back in one piece"

*He goes and hugs him*

*Everyone else finishes saying hi and welcoming Steve back*

Steve: "Actually, I brought my old buddy back with me"

*Someone walks in*

"Guys, this is-"

Y/N: "James?!"

Bucky: "You've gotta be kidding me!"

"I fight armed Russian super soldiers for 3 months, fly here to get some sort of relief, and who do I see, Princess Peach"

Y/N: "You can talk, Troublemaker!

*Everyone is silent and looks very awkward, while you stare at each other*

*Until you both laugh it off*

Bucky: "Ahhhaha! Come here you, I've missed you!"

*You hug*

Y/N: "I've missed you too brother"

Steve: "Brother?"

Y/N: "Foster brother"

Bucky: "Yep, me and this one grew up together. Spent 10 years with a foster family"

Y/N: "Until you turned 16 and left me"

Bucky: "Hey, you know I had no choice"

Y/N: "I know, I know"

"Just can't believe I haven't seen you since then"

*sarcastically* "You've grown up so much"

Bucky: "Have you?"

Y/N: "Shut up jerk" *You punch his arm*

Bucky: "That's a no"

*You laugh and roll your eyes*

*Nat walks over to you both*

Nat: "So brother huh?"
