*One night you can't sleep so you head downstairs to get a snack and find someone already at the fridge*
Y/N: "Wow this time of night didn't think I'd been fighting over the fridge"
*The person comes out from behind the fridge door*
Steve: "Sorry I was hungry"
Y/N: "Steve.."
Steve: "Hey Y/N"
Y/N: "You're back?! When did you.."
Steve: "About an hour ago"
"Didn't wanna wake anyway so thought we'd sneak in, go to bed and catch everyone in the morning"
Y/N: "We?"
Steve: "Um yeah, my old buddy came back with me. Think we could really use him here"
Y/N: "Oh cool, well I'm excited to meet this guy"
"How have you been anyway? How'd the mission go?"
Steve: "Yeah it went good"
"How about you? You and Tony..together?"
Y/N: "Yeah, and we're happy"
Steve: "I'm glad"
Y/N: "Oh, sorry, I didn't mean it like that, I just meant-"
Steve: "No, it's fine. Seriously, time away was what I needed and it really helped. I'm good..we're good"
Y/N: "Okay, great"
"Well the others are gonna be so glad you're back"
Steve: "Really? They weren't annoyed when I left and didn't say goodbye?"
Y/N: "Oh absolutely! But they'll still be happy to see you"
