Part 31 - Steve's Moved On

*Eventually everyone heads up to bed except you, Bucky, Steve and Nat*

Tony: "Night guys. Don't be too long Y/N"

Y/N: "I'll be up soon"

*He heads upstairs*

Bucky: "So you and Mr. Stark huh? How'd that happen?"

Y/N: "It's a long story! And clearly I don't have all night"

Nat: "Well what I wanna know is why you kept your attractive brother a secret from us all?"

Y/N: "Haha I wouldn't say I kept it from you, it just didn't occur to me to tell you. We hadn't seen each other in so long and I didn't know I ever would"

"I'm surprised you didn't tell Steve though, Buck?"

Bucky: "Well I didn't know he knew you. Your name actually never came up"

*You look at Steve*

*He looks down*

*Nat looks awkwardly at Bucky*

Nat: "Maybe we should leave them to talk"

Bucky: "Yep, I'm not staying"

*They both leave*

Steve: "Look Y/N, I-"

Y/N: "Hey, no it's fine. I get it. You were getting away from all this, from me, so you're hardly gonna tell anyone about it"

Steve: "I had to block everything out if I wanted to move on, so I never told Bucky about you, or anyone else for that matter. I knew if I thought about here, I'd think about you"

*You look at him silently for a moment*

Steve: "So I didn't and I managed to move on"

Y/N: "Well I'm glad it worked and you're back. Everyone's really missed you. Even Tony"

Steve: "Hah I highly doubt that"

Y/N: "Well you'd be surprised"

*He smiles*

"Anyway, I think I'm gonna head up"

Steve: "Yes, don't wanna keep the boss waiting"

*You look at him shocked*

*He realises what he said*

Steve: "Okay, that came out wrong!"

Y/N: *laughing* "Yeah I think it did"

Steve: *laughing awkwardly* "Sorry"

Y/N: "No worries. Good night Steve"

Steve: "Good night Y/N"

*You head up*
