A purple and black portal is revealed in Mondstadt. Everyone stares at it with shocked expressions. They then see Diluc return. He catches his breath and slowly stands back up. He stares at the portal praying y/n doesnt come through. Fumiko evilly smiles at the portal waiting for her to come through. The portal starts to spark and gets brighter
Diluc: y/n... no...
The portal flashes a bright purple light. Everyone shields their eyes from the portal. As it fades a leg comes through. Slowly revealing y/n. As she walks through. Her clothing slowly transforms into black and purple armour. (Image is closest thing I could find to what I had in mind. You can change it to something else if you prefer)

With metallic boots and a metallic glove, covering her burnt hand. Y/n drops her bag at the side, symbolising she was home. Everyone is staring at her in complete shock. They all realise that Fumiko's theory must have been true! How else could she have conjured up a portal? Xiao notices that y/n's armour had elements that resembled Bosacius armour. He couldn't believe it. It all made sense. As y/n walks through she gives Fumiko a cold stare
Fumiko: *chuckles* I was right! Y/n: ...you nearly killed him! Fumiko: oh please! I knew you would save him
Y/n steps up to Fumiko, and picks her up by the neck. As the clan try to attack her, y/n uses her electric shield to protect her. Y/n raises her other arm and shocks Fumiko. Her eyes turning purple and her voice turning into an echo
Fumiko: ughhh!! Y/n: you tried to take everything from me! Fumiko: you did the same to me! Y/n: ...no... I tried to make Diluc happy... you tried to make everyone else miserable.. Fumiko: *chuckles* what are you going to do to me? Y/n: I should throw you through a portal and have you pay for what you did! Fumiko: then why don't you?! Y/n: because I'm not you! Fumiko: aren't you though? Sweetie I know you more then you know yourself! what you come from is a lot darker then I could ever be Y/n: what are you talking about?! Fumiko: do you want to tell her Lucy? Or should I? Y/n: ...tell me what?!
He goes silent. As y/n looks towards Diluc, Fumiko raises her sword
Diluc: y/n watch out!
Y/n quickly turns to face Fumiko and knocks the sword away from her and twists towards Fumiko. The sword lands in Fumiko's chest. Y/n steps back as Fumiko lands on the ground and passes away. Y/n is scared of the action she had done. Y/n's breath gets heavy. Fumiko was dead. Y/n didn't mean to kill her. The clan attack. Everyone starts to fight but y/n. She stares at Fumiko's body, completely terrified. For a while everyone continues to fight. As y/n continues to stare. Y/n couldn't hold in her anger anymore. Purple sparks flare out of her body and grow. in an instant she knocks most of the clan down. Y/n collapses on the ground, her voice and eyes resuming to their normal state. Diluc rushes over to her. The rest of the clan retreat in fear
Diluc: y/n?! Wake up! Please!...
Everyone else crowds around. Diluc then kisses her on the lips
Diluc: please!... I-I'm so sorry...
Y/n gasps for air as she sits up.
Diluc: Y/n!!
Diluc hugs y/n and kisses her. Tears flow down y/n's cheeks. And she wraps her arms around him tightly. Her crying gets louder. When they eventually pull away they look at each other in their eyes
Y/n: ...w-what happened? Diluc: ...it's a long story... but we can explain later... Y/n: ok... *gasps* Catherine! Diluc: Catherine? Y/n: the woman I was with Diluc: who is she? Y/n: a friend. I need to go back and- Diluc: what?! I'm not letting you go back... never again! Y/n: I promise I'll be back! I just need her to know I'm safe Diluc: ... Y/n: please... I need to tell her... Diluc: ... you have 2 minutes
Y/n kisses him
Y/n: thank you...
Y/n goes towards the spot where the portal was and repeats her action again from the first time. The portal slowly starts to appear. And y/n walks back through. On the other side Catherine watches her return
Catherine: wow... you look?!- Y/n: different? Catherine: well yeah! Y/n: I don't really know why it happened ... Catherine: ...you're going back aren't you? Y/n: ...yeah Catherine: is it safe now? Y/n: I believe so... Fumiko... she.... she is gone... Catherine: what happened to her? Y/n: ... she tried to attack me... so I had to use self defence and- Catherine: but you're free now... you can be with Diluc! Y/n: yeah... and when I go back through that portal... I won't waste a second of it
Catherine hugs y/n
Catherine: I hope you can have a happy life there Y/n: I hope you have a happy life too
They chuckle and have tears in their eyes... they give each other a final hug and y/n goes back through the portal. When she comes back through it closes behind her. She sees Diluc standing there smiling. Y/n runs towards Diluc. He holds her in his arms and spins her around. He didn't want to let her go. They could barely keep their balance. Everyone around them smile at them, happy they were finally back together.
Diluc: you have no idea how happy I am to have you back in my arms Y/n: ...please don't ever make me leave again Diluc: I won't... I mean it this time... whatever the cost... we will face it together
They kiss each other again, closing the gap between them. When they pull apart y/n hugs all her friends again. She was overwhelmed to be back again. But the amount of happiness she felt to be back, was above and beyond. She was finally back home. And she was reunited with the person she loved
(Hi guys, I want to thank you all for the support this fanfic has gotten. I am aware of the complaints on the original outfit, but the plan wasnt for you guys to actually like the outfit 😂 the point was for you to feel uncomfortable with the outfit because I had plans to change it from the start, but I couldn't say anything because spoilers. I understand why you all didn't like it, but at that time I literally couldn't find anything "Mondstadt" style that wasn't other characters from genshins outfits. I wanted something similar to Lumines outfit, but with Lisa's colours. And found nothing, that's why I tried to give a brief description. For everyone that changed it to what you liked, that was still completely fine, and if you still don't like this outfit, that's ok too. I still can't get exactly the style I want, but I hope you get the rough idea I am going for. Sorry for the mindplay 😂 but thanks again for everything else guys, the views, likes and other comments do mean a lot to me)
