Y/n steps back in disbelief

Y/n: what kind of sick trick is this?!
Dad: it's not a trick y/n sweetie
Y/n: don't you dare call me sweetie!
Dad: y/n I-
Y/n: you aren't real! YOU AREN'T REAL!
Dad: I am y/n... I promise you...
Y/n: but you were dead! I morned for you! I cried tears over you! I was alone without you...
Dad: I can explain everything... please

Y/n steps back

Y/n: go on then! Explain!
Dad: ...it's a long story
Y/n: then start already!
Dad: the truth is... I've known about being a descendant of Bosacius my entire life... my father would tell me all these stories about him... all these different tales about a different world... where Bosacius was from... I was always so mesmerised by it all... but the only thing was... I wasn't to tell ANYONE about it... because we would be seen as monsters... especially from when I was a kid. Anyways... when you were born... I was so relieved... finally someone I could pass my knowledge to! I couldn't tell your mother... she would have cast me aside... but the day you were born... I also got sick... I was losing my breath... it was like my Yaksha half was starting to get messed up... I decided to just tell everyone I had cancer instead... but as you got older... the pain got worse... my Yaksha abilities were weakened... and so was my breathing... luckily only first Borns are passed down with the Yaksha abilities... so when your siblings were born... they didn't get effected... I was still so confused as to why I was getting sicker... none of our ancestors had ever dealt with this before... other then Bosacius obviously... that day when I was rushed to hospital... I knew it was coming to the end... so I decided to tell your mother... she was so afraid of me... she didn't want to even look at me... told me... she wanted me gone... so... with what power I had left... I brought myself here... I found myself in Snezhnaya... word got out and the Tsaritsa at first tried to get rid of me. She knew that I was from another world and tried to banish me... but then I told her about my connection with Bosacius... she was intrigued. Offered me an opportunity, and gave me this cryo vision to help her. I could be part of her army! I could help her lead her new guards to fight and bring her great power! So that's when we started the Fatui harbingers... that's when I became the first of the eleven Fatui Harbingers! At last I didn't have to hide my true self! But it made me feel more alone then ever before. It made me want to come back home to you...

Y/n couldn't believe what she was hearing. She turned away from him. Ashamed of what he had said

Dad: ... the Tsaritsa said that if I could bring her the power of the Yaksha mask... that she could turn me back to human... that way I could go back home... we could be a family again!
Y/n: ... do you know how lost I was without you? Do you know how much I missed you?... you should have brought me with you... when you had the chance...
Dad: y/n, all you have to do is go back to our world... bring the mask... and everything can go to normal...
Y/n: I don't know where it is!
Dad: ... I burried it in our garden... so no one could find it... please... we are family!

Y/n's dad tries to put his hand on her shoulder. She quickly turns back towards him, knocking his hand away.

Y/n: no! My family is here! And I won't let you hurt others to get the Tsaritsa more power!
Dad: *sighs* you had to make things complicated didn't you?!

Y/n's dad shoots ice towards her knocking her to the ground. As he gets closer to her she shocks him, causing his face to get knocked to the side. he slowly faces her again

Dad: I knew you had to be my daughter when you fought Childe... too caring to finish the job! *chuckles* it really is a strength to hold back from hurting someone. Even though the person you love is at risk!
Y/n: ... it was more then just him at risk!

Y/n's dad went confused. She then took that opportunity and shocked him back again. Knocking him to the ground. Her dad then gets up again and charges at y/n, she dodges him and shoots him from behind. Her dad then uses his cryo and traps her inside an ice cage. she tries to use her power to get out but it didn't work. Her dad walks closer to her

Dad: listen y/n. All you have to do is bring the mask to me... bring it... and your boyfriend lives!

Y/n looks up and sees Diluc trying to break through his restraints but couldn't. Y/n looks down at the ground

Y/n: ... fine
Dad: that's my girl

Diluc tries even harder to get free and loud mumbles we're heard from him. Y/n ignores them. Her dad then gets rid of the ice cage and conjures up the portal. Y/n stares back at it in fear. Then back at Diluc

Dad: you have 1 hour to bring the mask! Fail... and we kill him
Y/n: ... you lay one hand on him while I'm gone... You will all pay the price for your actions
Dad: *smiles* I'll keep that in mind.

Y/n looks back at the portal and steps through. Diluc manages to struggle through his mouth covering and free his mouth

Diluc: how could you do something like that to your own daughter?!
Dad: because... it's the only way I can get back home... the only way I can be accepted by my family
Diluc: this is not the way!
Dad: you wouldn't understand! If you had children, you would realise that sometimes you have to fight the unexpected for them!
Diluc: oh I understand completely! I've fought many threats that have come my way! And I'd fight them all again to protect her! But I'd never hurt those I love to get what I wanted! It's selfish!

Y/n's dad turns to the Tsaritsa then back at the portal. He then closes it behind her

Diluc: what are you doing?!
Dad: making it a little more challenging for her. I don't like it when people piss me off
Diluc: she can conjure up her own portal genius!
Dad: that is true. But getting it in the place you want it to appear in Snezhnaya is a little trickier
Diluc: ... she will never forgive you for this
Dad: it's not her forgiveness I'm looking for... all I want is to be accepted back into my family... she made her choice. She clearly doesn't want to be part of it
