Childe Entices - Chapter 40

It's a new day. Y/n is asleep in the bed, Diluc leans over and gives her a kiss to wake her up.

Diluc: morning beautiful
Y/n: *chuckles* morning
Diluc: how would you feel, if I told you we were going on a trip to Liyue today?
Y/n: ...don't say that!

Her expression turns to shocked

Diluc: w-what?!
Y/n: last time you told me we were going to Liyue, you had me go back to my world!
Diluc: no no no! I swear I mean it this time! I swear!
Y/n: you better mean it! I'm not going back to-
Diluc: y/n... I'm not going to EVER send you back to your world... from the bottom of my heart, I promise you! And I'm never going to break a promise to you again...
Y/n: r-really?
Diluc: really
Y/n: ok then *smiles* I'll go get ready
Diluc: great

Diluc and y/n both pack bags to go to Liyue. Diluc had to go to discuss business with Zhongli and look at some land for the possible construction on the new winery. It had been a while since y/n had visited but she was so excited to go back to the beautiful city. They both head to the waypoint when they finish packing. They hold each other's hands and teleport to Liyue. When they appear in the city, they stood in front of a familiar face, Zhongli.

Zhongli: glad to see you both arrive here safely
Y/n: nice to see you again Zhongli
Zhongli: same to you too miss y/n
Diluc: I thought we were meeting at your office?
Zhongli: yes well, I decided it would make more sense to greet you here, since it would be faster to waypoint to the land.
Diluc: I thought the land was in Liyue?
Zhongli: it is, but there is a waypoint close to the land we may be purchasing for the winery
Diluc: alright then

Zhongli walks up to the waypoint. Diluc then puts his hand on Zhongli's shoulder, and y/n grabs Diluc's hand. Zhongli then raises his hand and places it on the waypoint, disappearing from Liyue city. They then appear in an open field beside a dirt road. They look around at the location, and see Childe waving at them all.

Childe: hello everyone
Diluc: did he seriously need to be here for this?!
Zhongli: he helps me with finances, it only seems fair that he has a look at the land
Diluc: I don't like fatui messing around in major decisions
Childe: I could be messing with something a lot more personal if you like? *winks at y/n*
Diluc: you touch her and you'll lose your head!
Y/n: hey that's enough!
Zhongli: yes, we are here for business, not to argue over unrelated topics.
Childe: I'll be nice, as long as he does the same
Diluc: trust me, this is my nice side!
Y/n: Diluc!
Diluc: ...fine!
Zhongli: now let's get started with this discussion

Diluc POV

We look around at the land, and briefly talk about how the construction could be settled, as well as the costing for everything. It honestly seemed like a great option for the winery, there was plenty of space, and the pricing seemed reasonable. It was settled, we would buy the land first thing in the morning and talk to a construction business we had been writing to about our plans. By the looks of things, me and y/n would be staying a few nights in Liyue at least. I don't think she minded though, in fact, I think she loved the idea of staying here. She really does love the city, but I guess I do too... when I was here with y/n for the first time, was the first time I actually started to feel something other then anger in ages. When me and y/n get to our hotel room, I can practically hear y/n's stomach rumbling as soon as we enter, I chuckle at her, and I see her start to blush

Y/n: y-you didn't hear that did you?!
Diluc: *chuckle* I think next door heard that rumble
Y/n: oh gosh, that's so embarrassing!
Diluc: no, no it's not, come on, let's leave our bags here and go get some food somewhere. You haven't eaten all day
Y/n: o-ok

They both leave the hotel and find a restaurant in Liyue to have dinner together. They are eating at a table for two, talking to each other and laughing during conversation.

Y/n: how is your food?
Diluc: it's no English breakfast, but it does the trick
Y/n: *chuckles* I didn't realise you liked my breakfast that much
Diluc: I love your cooking, it's very original
Y/n: well maybe it is in this world, but in mine? Not so much
Diluc: well whatever it is, it's great in my eyes
Y/n: well thank you, I appreciate it... anyways I need the bathroom, I'll be right back

Your POV

I head over to the restaurant's bathroom, as I turn the corner to approach it, I feel a hand grab me, and push me towards the wall. I feel a man have his arms on both sides of me, trapping me in place and looking down at me with a smirk. I look at him in fear, the man before me was none other then Childe

Y/n: Ch-Childe?! What are you doing?!
Childe: hello beautiful, I saw you sitting over there with Diluc and thought I would say hi
Y/n: umm hi? Can I go now?!
Childe: what's the rush?
Y/n: I need the bathroom? And I want to get back before my food gets cold
Childe: surely that can wait a little longer

I see Childe lean closer to me, his head turns to the side of me and I can feel his breath on my neck. Just before he could place his mouth on my neck I shove him away

Y/n: what do you think you are doing?!
Childe: oh come on. Don't you want to try something a little different?
Y/n: what?! No! Get away from me!
Childe: you seriously want to go back to a man that pushed you away to a different world?
Y/n: h-how do you know about that?!
Childe: Zhongli told me of course. Look I only want to help you. Let a man show you his real appreciation to you

I feel Childe's hand make it's way to my ass, his hand grips onto it tightly. I manage to break free from his grasp and slap him on his cheek. I then rush back to the table

Childe watches y/n leave with a wicked smile on his face. When y/n gets back to her table she tried not to cry in front of all the people in the restaurant.

Diluc: y/n? Are you ok?!
Y/n: yeah I'm fine, let's go
Diluc: what why? You haven't finished your-
Y/n: please! I just want to go!
Diluc: umm ok

Diluc puts some mora down on the table and y/n drags him out of the restaurant. They are heading back to the hotel and y/n is still grabbing Diluc's hand and leading him away.

Diluc: y/n! What's going on?! Just tell me what happened!
Y/n: I just wanted to leave ok?!
Diluc: no! Something happened!

They stop walking and let go of each other. looking towards each other. Y/n tries to hold back her tears. Y/n looks around to make sure no one is around.

Diluc: what is it?
Y/n: ...someone tried to seduce me while I was heading to the bathroom... I got scared and wanted to get out of there...
Diluc: what?! Then let me go take care of that bastard! Who was he?!
Y/n: I don't know who he was! And I didn't want you to create a disturbance in there!
Diluc: me?! He was the one that tried to make moves on you?! He was asking for it!
Y/n: please can we just forget it?
Diluc: how are you so calm about this?
Y/n: because... I'm used to guys being that way with me... you remember Angel's tavern? That guy tried to do the same thing to me then... well that isn't the first time a guy tried to get me in their bed... it's something most women go through at least once in their lives... we aren't always seen as people, but as objects... it's sad, but the more it happens, the more we get used to people treating us this way...
Diluc: I-I had no idea...
Y/n: guys don't usually... don't worry... I know you aren't like that...
Diluc: ... I would never do anything to hurt you, or make you feel uncomfortable
Y/n: I know...

Diluc holds both of y/n's hands

Diluc: I love you y/n... And I never want to do anything to hurt you
Y/n: I love you too... and I would never do anything to hurt you either

Diluc leans in and kisses y/n.
