Question: Random once again, but you favourite flavour for ice-cream? For cake? For milkshake?

"Bye, Magnus," Alec whispered as he held Magnus' hands in his. Magnus' head was on Alec's shoulders and they were standing in the middle of the living room.

"When are you going to be home?" Magnus murmured, placing a kiss on Alec's cheek.

"Midday ish."

"That's sad," Magnus commented, "I have a client at half twelve."

"I can still come over?" Alec questioned. It had only been a month since Alec had moved into the loft and so far, both of them were adoring it.

"Of course, darling. It's your home as well."

Alec blushed at that and Magnus gave him a sweet smile before disentangling himself from Alec's arms.

"You need to go now, my sweetheart."

And then Alec smiled, pressed his lips to Magnus' sweetly before going outside, blushing again when Magnus blew a kiss to him.

Alec turned and walked to the Institute, wondering how incredible his life had turned after meeting Magnus. It was somewhat of a fascination.

At the Institute, Alec did the general stuff he always did, some reports, creating a schedule for Patrol and a quick training session with Clary and Jace. And that happened to be his work done, so he headed back to the loft even though he knew Magnus wouldn't be home. It was only when he got there that he realised the slight issue. He rung Magnus, who picked up second ring.

"Darling," Magnus said, "Are you okay? Is a demon eating you? Are any of our friends dying?"

"Um," began Alec, "No to all your questions. I just forgot to take my key so I can't get in. I realised you said you had a spare key hidden outside the loft?"

"Ah that," sighed Magnus, "It's hidden brilliantly."

"Where is it?"

"They key is under the mat, Alexander," Magnus said in mock-whisper, "The mat outside the front door."

"Isn't that like the most typical hiding place for a key?"

"Yeah, but it's fine," Magnus said, "I have wards if anyone I don't know try and get in. They'll be rebounded with a shockwave. Obviously you won't and neither will our idiotic friends."

"That's a relief," Alec replied sarcastically, bending down and retrieving the spare key from under the mat before opening the door.

"Are you in yet, Alexander?" Magnus questioned.

"Mhm," Alec sighed back, "I'm going to hang up now."

"Rude."

"You have a client."

"You're more important."

"I need to shower and that is also important."

"More than me?"

"Considering I'm very sweaty, yes," Alec answered, not meaning it.

"Wow, I'm wounded," Magnus sighed dramatically, "Well I may as well get back to my clients. See you, darling."

"Bye, hurry home!"

"With you waiting? Always."

Alec smiled, literally like a teenager being asked out by their crush, and hung up before having a shower, coming out and wrapping himself up in a robe. He found no need to properly dress seeing he was going to spend his time at the loft that evening. And every evening after that one.

Whilst he was fishing the robe out, he realised that the wardrobe was so very messy. With Magnus' clothes the messiest and taking up three-quarters of the enormous space. Alec decided that whilst waiting for Magnus, he may as well fold all the clothes neatly and went onto doing that, hoping that it may help Magnus.

He was placing the last jacket away when he heard the door open, a familiar chorus of 'I'm home!' and then hands were winding around Alec's middle.

"What are you up to, pretty boy?" Magnus asked, eyeing the now-neat wardrobe.

"The wardrobe was so messy so I figured I should probably help with it," Alec replied, turning around in Magnus' arms, grinning at his warlock.

"I have magic for that, sweetheart," Magnus said, with a sweet smile.

"Oh well," Alec sighed, enveloping Magnus in a soft but firm kiss.

"Well, what do you want to do now?" Magnus asked, "Make lunch?"

In a response, Alec's stomach grumbled and Alec flushed. Magnus beamed.

"I'll take that as a yes," Magnus said and took Alec by the hands, leading him to the kitchen.

"What should we make?" Magnus wondered out loud, "How about a nice roast chicken with veggies, huh?"

"Sounds perfect to me," Alec mumbled, but before Magnus could go too far away, he caught the warlock against him.

"I just want to say that you make me the happiest peron ever, Magnus," Alec muttered whilst blushing. Magnus' eyes softened impossibly.

"Oh, sweetheart," Magnus mumbled, cupping Alec's cheek, "Is everything okay?"

"It's perfect, all thanks to you. I don't know why, but I needed to say it."

"Oh, my angel," sighed Magnus, "You underestimate how happy you make me. Just because I've lived through centuries doesn't mean I don't feel something new everytime I see you, Alexander. Because trust me, I do."

Alec smiled softly, "How should I help in the making of lunch?"

"You could sit there," Magnus pointed at the dining table, "And do what you do best."

"And what do I do best?"

"Look beautiful and gorgeous and pretty."

Alec flushed as he tried not to stammer, "Seriously?"

"Mhm," Magnus winked and pushed him into a chair by the dining table. "Allow me to treat you, kind sir."

Alec blushed and nodded as Magnus placed a light kiss on his cheek, floating away like a butterfly, leaving Alec feeling treasured and loved, something that he never thought he'd have until Magnus.

A/N Okay, so that was probably crappy, but we'll roll with it. Please comment, vote and share!!! (No time to proof-read, sorry!)
