Izumi healed everyone's wounds, her mind still reeling at what Stain said.

A True Hero? Her?

She didn't believe it. How could she? Those words were uttered by a Hero Killer.

Even though she understood his ideals, she still couldn't believe him when he announced that she was a true hero.

Like his sister, Izuku also did not believe Stain.

As Izumi healed Stain, Izuku sapped his strength So Stain did not regain consciousness.

The Pro Heroes escorted the heroes in training out of Hosu.

They were put into police custody, because they illegally used their quirks to hurt someone else, even though it's a villain.

"I don't really get it, if we helped take down a villain, why are we still in police custody?" Izuku complained.

He looked to his right, from which he heard a sigh.

A sigh belonging to an all too familiar female greenette.

"Yes, we took down a villain. We illegally took down a villain. That's why we're here. If people could just take the law into their own hands and use their quirks whenever they want, there would've already been a world war somewhere out there. The world would be destroyed. That's why the usage of quirks in public without a license is forbidden." Izumi explained to Izuku, in a way similar to the way a mother would explain to a child why it's bad to steal.

Izuku huffed, "That's dumb. We took out a villain for them and they still take us into custody?"

"We pretty much became vigilantes just then, Izuku. We aren't militant cops who take the law into our own hands. We're heroes in training. We're not supposed to be fighting villains until after we get our provisional hero licenses."

And there was the voice of reason that Izuku never bothers to listen to.

Iida and Todoroki were both silent as they listened to the twins interact.

Then, a police officer in the form of a dog walked in front of them.

"Greetings, young heroes. My name is Keiji Tsuragamae. I am the current chief officer in the police force. Personally, I am very grateful to you for helping us capture the Hero Killer. Officially, however, I am forced to punish you for using your quirks without a license." The mutt- officer, explained, "I offer you two choices in this situation. A lot of Stain's bones were broken, but there were burn marks on him, which can be explained by Endeavor's quirk, since he was in the area. Would you rather the truth be published and your mentors' licenses suspended, or would you rather spare your mentors and let Endeavor take the credit?"

Izumi frowned, what kind of question was that? "But why are you manipulating information? We broke the law, so we should pay the price."

Izuku slapped her, "As much as I like the idea of letting the world know of our awesomeness, I still think we should let Endeavor take the credit."

A soft but aggravated sigh reached the ears of those who were listening, "But isn't manipulating information also illegal? Besides, it isn't right! We broke the law, we should be punished accordingly!"

Then Todoroki butted in, "Except we aren't the ones who are going to be punished. Our mentors are. Mind you, I wouldn't mind letting my old man's license suspended, but I'm not too sure about the other pro heroes."

Izumi weighed the pros and cons, would she rather hide their crime or let someone else take the punishment for them?

The officer noticed this, chuckling slightly, "I can see why Stain called you a true hero."

Izumi barely processed what he said.

"If we hide our crime to protect our mentors, we'll have to live the police knowing our crime, but we'll also be committing a crime by manipulating information. But if we just publish the truth, our mentors will take the punishment, not us. The best choice of action here is to manipulate the information, but that in itself is a crime... As law-abiding citizens, we should let the truth be published and take the punishment, but it's not right to let our mentors take the punishment because we're the ones to step out of line. But we can spare them if we let Endeavor take the credit, but we'd just be covering up a crime with another crime..." Izumi was too busy muttering to herself, deciding whether or not to publish the truth and take the punishment, or to hide it and commit another crime.

After a long period of muttering, Izuku snapped her out of it yet again, "Just let Endeavor take the credit. Think of it as the police turning a blind eye to us."

"But-" Izumi protested, only to be cut off by Iida.

"If I may interject..." He said, "I also think that neither of these choices are great, however, letting Endeavor take the credit for defeating Stain is, perhaps, the most favorable solution, I personally think it's better than letting our mentors take our punishment."

Izumi sighed in defeat, she was outnumbered. With two people wanting to let Endeavor take the credit and one indifferent person, she had no choice but to give in to her brother and best friend.

"Alright, I'll let Endeavor take credit for the defeat of Stain, but that doesn't necessarily mean I must like it." Izumi gritted out with extreme difficulty. She didn't like this at all, but what could she do when her opinion is reflected in the minority?

That's right. Nothing.

So she begrudgingly accepted the officer's offer, much to her dismay.

Even though she was happy that her mentors didn't have to take any punishments, she still did not like the fact that they had to manipulate information to do so.

The heroes in training were eventually let out of the station and were allowed to return to their internships.

It wasn't long before internships were over, and the heroes in training had to return to UA for further training and information. Little did they know, the final exams were just around the corner.
