"Uhhh.... It's summer break..." I yell as I sit up from the spot I fell asleep on. I look to my right and see that Lily was no longer there.
"Geez... Brody you almost woke here up.... Yeah she knows... What!.... That is amazing!... Why not.... Ohh that makes sense.... Yeah... I gotta go... Love you too!... Bye!" I fell back onto the couch and pretended to sleep as she ended her call with Brody.
"Jewel, I know you are waking up! Stop going back to sleep." She said as she walked over to my laptop and went to the Youtube account her and Brody made.
"Oh my god!! It's true!" She yelled jumping up and down.
"Brody heard from this guy whose sister is Joanna that Scooter Braun wants to check out your singing!" She yells.
"REALLY!!" I yell.

At 9 that morning I got a call. It was 20 minutes after Lily had gotten hers.
"Hello." "Hi is this Jewel Kendrick?" Yes it is. Who am I speaking with?" "I'm Scooter Braun. I saw your Youtube videos that your friends put up and you are an amazing singing. I want to see you in person at 3. I already have your address, so I will see you!" Bye." "Bye Miss Kendrick."
"Lily! I was just on the phone with Scooter Braun!!!" I scream.
"Dude you know this means you will get to meet like a bunch of celebrities." She says.
"If I'm good enough." I point out.
"You are good enough so shut up!" She yells raiding my closet for something for me to wear.

At 3 on the dot there was a knock on the door. I walk down the stairs and open the door to see Scooter Braun standing there.
