Capítulo 2

Still six years ago..

Charles was on his balcony now, looking at the stars above while leaning on the railings of it. He remembered Georgina again and the time they spend together 2 days ago, he was thinking of how happy he was with her and especially how she makes his heart and mind forgot his problems.

He was also thinking of how to see her again, hindi naman siya pwedeng lumabas at isa pa hindi niya alam kung kailan na naman siya babalik dito, gusto niya na itong makita ulit.

With that thought, he sighed and felt the heavy feeling on his chest, he just looked on the glistening stars above just to calm his self.

“Mi hijo, pumasok kana dito, it’s now getting late, what are you doing there?” tanong nang kaniyang abuela sa kaniya pagkatapos niya itong makita sa malaking balcony nila.

“Nothing Abuela, just looking at the stars tonight.” Charles said kaya agad na lumapit ang kaniyang abuela sa kaniya.

“Oh, How was your talk with Georgina the other day? Did you two get along?” tanong nang kaniyang abuela sa kaniya kaya agad niya itong hinarap pero agad namang bumalik ang kaniyang paningin sa mga bituin.

“Sí Abuela, but I want to meet her again, I felt happy to be with her.” Charles said kaya agad na ngumiti ang kaniyang abuela bago hinagod-hagod ang kaniyang buhok.

“Oh is that so? Hayaan mo, gagawa ako nang paraan para makita mo siya ulit. Your mom is quite strict and so stubborn all the time, that’s why when I always get angry with her to teach a lesson she was so hard headed to follow me but she will not stop me to do the things I want and to take care of you, sige lang mi hijo, makikita mo rin siya ulit.” Sabi nang kaniyang abuela kaya agad na gumuhit ang masayang ngiti sa kaniyang labi.

“Gracias Abuela! Te ámo mucho!” sabi ni Charles kaya agad niya itong niyakap nang mahigpit habang natutuwa ang kaniyang Abuela.

“Come now, we’re going to bed, it’s getting late.” Sabi nang kaniyang abuela kaya agad siyang tumango at lumakad papasok sa kanilang bahay.

When they reached his room ay agad siyang pinahiga nang kaniyang Abuela para matulog, she  turned off the lampshade beside his bed and covered the big curtains on his windows.

She then caressed his hair to sleep and kissed his grandson when he fell asleep.

“Good night mi hijo, I’m sorry because I can’t make you happy or to have your freedom, I was still afraid for you to go out but now I felt so guilty, Don’t worry mi hijo, Abuela will do all her best to make you happy and especially to pursue your friendship with the girl you met whom you will be happy with.” Soledad said to his grandson in a low voice before going out of his room.

“Good morning mama, papa!” Georgina happily said to her mother who is now cooking their breakfast.

It’s now Sunday kaya lahat sila ay nandito sa bahay and also this is a great time to spend with each other.

“Good morning to my prettiest daughter in the whole world, kamusta yung tulog mo ha? Oh my little princess is so big now.” Masayang bati nang kaniyang tatay at agad siyang binuhat sa kaniyang mga bisig.

“Maayos naman yung tulog ko pa, I can see that I’m getting prettier when I sleep good.” Pangyayabang ni Georgina sa kaniyang tatay kaya agad na natuwa ito.
