Capítulo 31

THE RECLAIM

“Hold it tightly mi hija, always focus on your target.” Manuel taught her properly on using the gun by making her hand steady.

They're  here at their mansion. The sun is still shining above them, the warm afternoon breeze of the island keeps on moving back and forth, and the trees around them keep swaying calmly.

Georgina and Manuel is now practicing on shooting because this is an important matter to learn before they commence their combat. Georgina nodded at what Manuel remind to her and tried again.

She held the gun tightly on her arm and squinted her left eye to focus on the target, took a deep breath first before shooting the bottles placed on a table far from her. A bang of the gun sounded afterwards and her face lit up with joy when she perfectly aimed the bottle and it shattered completely.

“Excellent!” Manuel praised her after that and pat her back so she smiled towards him and thank him.

“Wow! After a couple of shots, you got one! Great job Georgina!” Casper praised her too with his loud cheerful voice as he walks toward them with his other hand putted inside on his left pocket.

Casper and Luciano was here too, they’re really helpful on making her be stronger and skilled when it comes to battle, kaya tuwang-tuwa si Georgina na nandito sila para turuan siya.

“Thanks, I want to shoot more.” Manuel nodded at her and got her gun to load some bullets before he checked it and held it back to her again. Georgina aimed the gun quickly, she squinted her eyes too and then the bottle she aimed at, shattered into pieces again.

“Now you get the hang of it! Just practice more so that we can proceed on some skills you need.” Casper told her after he sat on the wooden chair in front of their wooden table where snacks are present.

Manuel just smiled at her afterwards and she continued repeatingly. Masaya si Georgina sa ginagawa niya ngayon, alam niyang para ito  kay Charles pero iniisip niya na maari rin niya itong gamitin sa panahon na may mangyayari, nadama niya rin na parang lumakas ang pagiging babae niya so she was proud of herself kahit alam niya sa panahon ngayon ay konti lang ang mga babaeng malakas at may kakayahan sa larangang ito. 

Napahinto si Georgina sa kaniyang pagbaril ng dumating si Luciano kasama ang kaniyang ama na may dala-dalang bote ng wine.

“Nice shots you got there Georgina! Parang nakakatakot kana ngayon ah.” Ngumuso lamang si Georgina sa pambobola ni Luciano sa kaniya at agad siyang hinawakan sa braso at tinulak para lumakad papalayo.

“Doon ka nga!” she jokingly said to him and pushed him again so he just rolled his eyes at her and walkeda away. She then faced her father, he was smiling happily and she can see that he’s proud of what she’s doing right now.

“My princess is now a badass, would you believe that?”

“Ano kaba pa, para rin naman to sakin eh, and besides…I told you I don’t want to be weak in front of her face? I want to be your daughter who is brave to face and end an evil being.” Leonardo chuckled at his daughter and pinched her cheeks with both of his hands.

“That’s my daughter.” She just hugged her father tightly and smiled. Leonardo loves what his daughter is developing, he wants her to be strong, he wants her to be brave, and he wants her to be his daughter that is eager to face some situations with confidence in the future. Nakita niya kung paano sumuko palagi ang kaniyang anak at kung paano ito umiyak dahil nawawalan ito ng pag-asa noon, he wants her to nurture herself kaya sa paraan ng pagsuporta niya ngayon sa anak niya ay alam niyang may ipagmamalaki siya sa huli.
