Capítulo 16

:The Downfall

“Happy anniversary Darwin!” masayang bati ni Georgina sa kay Charles kaya agad itong ngumiti at bumati rin.

“Happy anniversary Azalei!” he greeted so Georgina happily hugged him and kissed him on the lips before blowing the candle at a simple cupcake they bought and just laughed when they played with the icing.

They’re both at the cliff now celebrating their anniversary of their relationship, they brought some other food to celebrate so that’s why they’re now sitting at the table cloth placed on the grass ground.

They kissed now and after that they embraced each other. “I’m very happy for us Darwin, after all the months of love and happiness we made, we got this far.” She said, Charles faced her to caress her hair.

“I’m also happy too mi señorita, and I hope that we’re going to celebrate a lot of anniversaries of our relationship.”

“As long as we’re together Darwin, nothing is impossible.” She said so they both hugged again.

Georgina was  happily eating the food Charles gave to her, they’re having a great time  feeding each other again until they’re both full.

She then grabbed Charles's wine and pour it with the two wine glass he also brought so after that Georgina was leaning on his chest now while Charles was leaning his arms  on the ground.

Habang sila ay umiinom nang wine ay dumaan ang napakasariwang hangin na napapikit na lamang sila nang may ngiti sa labi.

“Are you happy with me Azalei?” Charles asked her minutes later so Georgina faced him with her confused face.

“Of course  Darwin why wouldn’t i? you’re the person I want to be with because I love you so much,  loving you was making me more than just happy.” She said sincerely that made  Charles smiled and bit his lips.

“Glad to hear that.” Georgina looked at her and just kiss his cheeks.

“Mamá’s going to visit the mansion again 2 days from now and I was worried if she’s going to do something again, alam mo naman ang nangyari noon sa amin kasama si abuela.” sabi niya kaya agad na umayos nang upo si Georgina bago niya hinawakan ang mga kamay ni Charles at tumingin sa kaniyang mga mata.

“Kung ano man yang plano o nasa isip na gawin nang Mamá mo just be strong okay? If she’s going to ask you a simple one just follow her for a bit to show that you're still respecting her but if it’s against you’re will and feeling then fight your own self now okay?” she said making him strengthen his self-belief and confidence.

“Muchas gracias mi señorita, I’m so lucky to have you as my woman  for a whole year.” He said so Georgina just smiled and kissed him on the lips until the kiss became passionate that they continued it  on the ground since there’s no people around.

“Buenos dias mamá, I miss you so much!” Charles happily greeted his mother when she got to the mansion.

“Buenos dias mijo, how was work?” she asked him calmly but Charles’s smile didn’t fade and just hide the pain because she didn’t even ask his condition or his self again.

“It’s fine mamà, I already did what you said because I came to Manervas in this past few months to associate with the Cortez and also checking our warehouse there.” He said so her mother just nodded and left him to go to the kitchen.
