THE RECLAIM 2

“Azalei! kumalma ka.” Charles tried to calm her down, blood still ran down from her shoulder where she was been shot by Valeria, daplis lamang iyon pero ganito ang kalabasan. He quickly ripped a part of his suit and tied it tightly and slowly to stop the bleeding, his face filled with worried and fear of what he have just witnessed upon his woman.

Luciano looked at them with a slight worry on his face, he knew how terrified his best friend, just by looking at him huffing and trembling as he take a care at her. Casper took the driver’s seat of the carriage thus he was the one maneuvering it towards their location.

Her father and Manuel took the other one to secure Mrs Cortez. All of them are moving quickly, malayo naman sila ngayon sa cathedral ngunit ang pagkabigla sa nangyari kanina kay Georgina ay naroon parin sa kanilang mga itsura at isip.

“He’ll be fine buddy.” Luciano uttered after a minute of silence and faced Charles who is still holding her body closely while she lay on his chest, eyes slightly drooping.

His pure black eyes filled with a little confusion on what he spoke. “Georgina is a strong woman, I’ve seen her change in the past few days, therefore, she’ll think of that wound as if it was just a paper cut…and besides, the bullet just swiped her skin.” After Luciano mentioned it, Georgina made a short laugh and that made Charles turned his gaze upon her, confused.

“What he said was true Darwin, it’s nothing..so don’t worry,” she gently cupped his face and gave him a quick kiss. His face softened on what she did and sighed, letting out his tension.

“Good for the both of you.” Charles giggled at his best friend in front of him as he shook his head. “Wait for your time buddy.”

The whole ride was just pure silent, Georgina was now sitting like nothing happened beside him, caressing his hands entangled unto hers. She was happy to feel his presence again, it may seem forever since then, but now, it was like a present for her given on Christmas day yet she'll experience an independence day later.

“We’re here.” They heard Casper informing them from the driver’s seat and the carriage stopped.

Luciano opened the carriage door beside him and got down from the ground, followed by Charles and Georgina.

Their own eyes roamed around the place, it was quiet since it was quite far from the city, like a mile to be exact. The whole building was abandoned and ruined, they can see a lot of natural plants making their own way inside the wrecked areas of the factory.

Cothwill factory is a place where stuffed animal is made, this place brought so much joy in the entire country of Caselonia and even in some parts of Europe, every children loves their product but due to a dark and bloody past of this place, they transferred in Spain and left this place freely and let  be taken over by nature itself.

Charles held her waist to carry her but Georgina slapped his hand and looked at him with her eyes slightly squinted and lips thinned, hands on waist.

“Pang-ilang sabi ko na ba sayo na kaya ko pa ang sarili ko, I can fight Darwin and I won’t let this pass just because I’m wounded, I’m not like that.” Napatahimik nalang si Charles sa kaniyang sinabi at agad na tumango bago nagsimulang lumakad papasok, pero bigla siyang hinatak ni Georgina at hinalikan saglit pero madiin.

Their eyes closed for a second, she ended it up with a soft smiling face. “I know that you’re worried of me but I’m fine.” She took a deep sigh and slapped him unexpectedly, his face widened after that and even Luciano who's near  them left with his eyes and mouth bulging and widened.
