Capítulo 3

Continuation of prologue|After six years…

“I’m going to miss mi hijo, but it was the best for him. After a lot of suffering he have been through, he deserves to claim his father’s decision.” Sabi nang lola ni Charles sa kay Georgina kaya agad siyang ngumiti nang malungkot.

They are still on the Cannary port, The yacht  Charles used had already left minutes ago kaya nandito parin sila ngayon tumitingin sa iba’t ibang tao na sumasakay rin sa ibang mga barko.

“Let’sa go hija, doon ka muna sa mansiyon, sabayan mo akong kumain.” Sabi ni Señora Soledad kaya agad na tumingin sa kaniya si Georgina, she can saw those sadness in her eyes kaya agad nalang siyang pumayag upang masamahan man lang niya ang matanda.

“Bueno, let’s go now? Don’t worry, your mother will be fine.” Sabi ni Señora Soledad sa kaniya kaya agad naman siyang tumango ulit at inalalayang lumakad papunta sa karwahe nila.

When they rode the carriage towards the Castillo’s mansion ay nakikita ni Señora Soledad na parang wala sa mundo ngayon si Georgina, she didn’t want to bother her moment so she just stayed silent.

Georgina felt lonely now, alam niyang pagkatapos nang lahat ay babalik naman si Charles dito at isa pa pupunta siya rito tuwing linggo, pero may meron sa kaniyang loob na  makapiling niya araw-araw ang kaniyang matalik na kaibigan, she felt like the reason for her happiness was decreased to a huge percent.

When they got to the mansion ay agad siyang pinatuloy ni Señora Soledad papunta sa kanilang malaking sala, all she can see was loneliness around the house, it felt so quiet and alone as usual.

“Let’s go mi hija, doon tayo sa Pavillion, it’s quite hot here.” Sabi nang lola ni Charles kaya agad siyang tumayo at sumunod sa kaniya.

They’re walking towards the back door of the mansion dahil doon ang pinakamalapit na daan so they pass by on the long hallway where some of Castillo’s family picture is situated and framed properly.

Georgina saw a picture of Charles who is sitting on a wooden chair properly while wearing a loose white long sleeve shirt tucked on his black pants, his hair was fixed and she can saw that his face was perfect as always.

It looks so formal to her yet she can sense that he was forced to take that shot just by looking on his gloomy eyes. She already saw this pictures when Charles toured her around the mansion, but still she was felt anew.

“Kumain kalang nang kumain mi hija, entiende? If there’s something you need, don’t hesitate to ask our servidoras.” Sabi ni Señora Soledad sa kaniya kaya agad lang siyang tumango at tumingin sa kaniya.

“Are you okay Abuela? You look sleepy, I guess you should rest now.”

“No I’m not mi hija, sasamahan pa nga kitang kumain eh.” Masayang sabi sa kaniya nang lola ni Charles kaya agad rin siyang natuwa.

“Alam mo mi hija, masayang-masaya ako na makalabas na si Charles sa pamamahay na ito, he can now explore a whole new world and find some friends. Every day I can see it on his eyes that he wanted to be happy through feeling the taste of freedom and  the things he wants to do. I was looking forward to him to speak to me what he feels after this because I’m sure he’s happy. Are you happy for him also mi hija?” may emosyong sabi ni Señora Soledad sa kaniya kaya agad siya munang huminto.

Masaya naman siya para sa kaibigan niya, masayang –masaya pero meron sa kaniyang loob na hindi niya maintindihan, yung pakiramdam na ayaw mawalay sa isang taong napaka-importante sa kaniyang loob.
