:The Downfall 9

As Charles walked at the hallway of their mansion, his tears didn’t stop for a while, what happened a while ago pained him. She wanted to let her daughter go, she wanted to be free from this situation, but how can he leave her if he loves her whole heartedly?

He just wailed and wailed until he reached his room and when he got inside ay doon na nanghina ang kaniyang katawan. Parang isang malaking batong problema ang kaniyang dinadala ngayon, nalilito na siya kung ano ang gagawin at kung paano ito mapigil.

Charles looked at the window, the sun is now setting, so his room was now getting darker, Georgina’s crying face invaded his mind and it  made him shout with a strong emotion of pain.

He didn’t want Georgina to be in this situation, and he also blames himself now on why does this keep happening to his woman’s family. “I can’t leave you Georgina.... I just can’t but I don’t want you to suffer too.” he mumbled as he sat on the floor of his room.

A lot of thoughts are now flashing on his mind making him to cry all along, but as the time goes by and it’s now really dark than a while ago, he calmed and just stare like an unbothered person at the windows of his room.

Agad na lamang siyang tumayo at pumasok sa banyo, he turned on the faucet of the bathtub and stared at the water running as it makes the tub contained fully with it. After the tub was now mostly full, he just unbuttoned his long sleeved polo and took off all his clothes before he dropped his body on the water.

On that moment, all he did was to sigh and overthink, hindi niya gusto na hiwalayan si Georgina, mahal na mahal niya ito at hinding-hindi niya ito iiwanan dahil lamang sa isang kasunduan.

Pagkatapos ni Charles na maligo at magbihis ng kaniyang damit ay palakad lakad na lamang siya sa loob ng kaniyang mansiyon hanggang sa tumigil siya sa salas at tumingin sa larawan ng kaniyang abuela.

“Señorito Charles, do you need anything?” tanong ng maid niya sa kaniya kaya agad siyang nagbuntong hininga.

“Wala, matulog na kayo at iwan niyo nalang ako dito, I'm fine here don't worry.” Mahinang sagot ni Charles kaya agad na lamang na tumango ang babae at umalis.

He looked at the picture of his abuela, tears suddenly filled his eyes at hindi niya na mapigilan ang kaniyang sarili na mapaluhod dahil sa panghihina at paghihinagpis.

“Nanghihina, at nasasaktan na ako abuela, bakit ko dinanas ang ganitong kabigat na problema? I just want to live my life... to a happy one.... just like you want me after you closed your eyes, pero....paano ako makaranas niyan kung ang kasiyahan ko ay unti-unti nang nilalayo sakin abuela?” he let out some sobs, napayuko na lamang siya sa sahig.

“Tulungan mo ako abuela, nahihirapan na ako.” Huling sabi niya nalang hanggang sa nanlabo na ang kaniyang mata sa mga luha na hindi tumitigil sa pagtulo mula sa kaniyang mata at bumibilis ang paghabol nang kaniyang hininga.

Cortez:

“Buenos dias señorita Cortez.” Magandang bati nang lalaking nagbabantay sa kaniyang mansiyon dahil kararating niya lang dito sa Seville para kausapin ang ina ni Charles tungkol sa lagay ng kanilang plano ngayon.

She was from Manervas to handle some things for a bit since her father was on France for an urgent meeting so as her mother kaya dumiretso na lamang siya dito.

While she was walking towards the backyard of the Castillo’s household, she was thinking of Charles. Every time she will remember that the man she loves is still in love with an another woman, she thinks of wild thoughts, she thinks of a scene on how she will get rid of Georgina at Charles’s side but her mind was confused and her own condition is now occurring that made her change her mind from time to time.
