It’s been a week now since that unexpected thing happened to them both and after that day they meet not too often because Charles was now busy on his job. She can’t forget what they just did on that day because that was so unexpected at hindi niya akalaing magagawa niya yun.

Georgina’s overthinking disappeared for a moment when her friends invited her to hang-out with them at Lorraine’s bakery tomorrow so that’s why when tomorrow came ay agad na siyang nagbihis nang kaniyang piniling suot kagabi at agad na nagpaalam sa kaniyang nanay bago lumabas sa kaniyang bahay.

Georgina just walked towards the town dahil malapit naman ito, and also she wore her favourite straw hat with a blue ribbon on it that she uses on her every day walk.

While Georgina was walking towards Lorraine’s bakery ay agad niya namang naalala ang aksidenteng ginawa nila ni Charles.

He wanted to kiss me but why? And why did I want to do it too? Ahhh! Why does this keep on flashing on my mind!

“Georgina mi hija! You look beautiful as always! I assumed that you came here to bond with them?” tanong nang ina ni Lorraine sa kaniya nang nakalapit na siya sa bakery.

“Good day to you Mrs Diaz, ah oo, nagpadala pa nga sila nang sulat eh, siguradong busy sila nang nakaraang araw.”

“I agree dear, Lorraine was also busy on her work, sige na pasok kana, siguradong paparating na yung iba and Lorraine is also waiting upstairs.” Sabi nang ina ni Lorraine kaya  nagpasalamat siya muna bago umakyat pataas nang kanilang bahay.

The moment she saw Lorraine preparing some tea’s on the table ay agad siyang ngumiti at dali-daling niyakap ito.

“Oh my, Lorraine! It’s been a long time since I saw you! You look beautiful as always!” masayang bati ni Georgina sa kaniyang kaibigan.

“I miss you Georgina! You look beautiful too! How was your life going?”

“The same as usual doing some clothes and other stuffs, how about you? You look busy this past few days kaya hindi ako nakabisita sayo.”

“yeah, dumadami yung orders eh, pero ok naman.” Lorraine said so they both smiled and continued talking to each other and minutes later Emma came to them.

“Georgina! Lorraine! Oh how I miss you guys so much! How are you both?” masayang bati ni Emma sa kanila kaya agad silang nag-usap hanggang sa dumating narin ang hinihintay nilang si Patricia.

“Oh I’m so sorry for my tardiness, mula pa ako sa Manervas eh, but thankfully I got here, oh my gosh you guys you look pretty! I miss you all!” masayang bati ni Patricia sa kanila kaya agad sila munang nagyakapan bago umupo.

“Ugh, life is so stressful!”

“I agree on that, now that we have our own jobs our time right now is limited! We can’t really hang-out much often.” Emma added on Patricia’s words.

“Calm down ladies, life is even stressful if we have flings now right? I bet some of you are having ones now, ito ngang si Emma eh, ilang araw nang dumidikit sa bagong dating na si Segovia.” Georgina said kaya agad na sumama ang mukha ni Emma.

“Excuse me? He’s just my friend who shares with my book.” Sabi ni Emma at agad na uminom nang tea sa tea cup.

They talk a lot of topics now, from their current lifestyle to their epic scenes which is sometimes funny or serious. Georgina was happy to be with her friends right now, after a lot of weeks they didn’t meet each other ay ganito ang kaniyang inaasahan, ang mag-usap usapan nang mga bagay tungkol sa kanilang mga buhay ngayon at naging masaya rin siya dahil hindi mawawala sa kanila ang pagmamahal at kasiyahan para sa isa’t isa.
