A couple of gloomy days have passed, after she bid her last goodbye to the man she loves the most, took her to the midst of agony. Georgina was just here at her bed, crouching, resting, sitting unbothered and she will cry from time to time when she will remember Charles.
It hurts her a lot, she knows he did all of that for her to be free from what they’re going through, pero hindi niya kaya, hindi niya kaya na magsaya siya habang ang minahal niyang lalaki ay nagsasakripisyo.
Georgina slowly face her sister with her sleepy and tired eyes before letting out a heavy sigh. “Just leave it there Sofia.”
“But if I’ll just leave this here, hindi mo naman to gagalawin at mauuwing panis na naman...kaya kumain ka naman ate.” Sofia was very worried of her, her eyes dropped down, she placed the plate she’s holding at the table beside Georgina’s bed and held her hand while she was sitting at her bed.
Georgina was just silent while her sister is speaking, she wants to accept those reasons, she wants to understand Charles...but now, she felt like she’s too selfish to ignore that.
She asked her sister about this but she was too emotional and occupied to answer that.
Just stay strong ate, because if you have the strength again, you’ll able to do things to make a solution to this…I believe in you ate.” Sofia continued and hugged her sister, Georgina can really feel her sister’s warm embrace, with her words been outspoken, she felt this feeling inside her, a feeling where she will just accept things, and make herself be lively again.
“Thank you Sofia.” She sincerely thanked her sister and that made Sofia calmly smile in between their embrace before caressing her back.
Georgina was still unable regain her strength, tuwing naaalala niya ang paghiwalay nila ay nanlulumo siya, she didn’t expect that and she’ll never be, all this time she thought that they will fight and be strong as always but in the end, that kind of moment, actually happened.
She got up from her bed and get some water at the kitchen kasi kanina pa siya nuuhaw. While she was drinking, her mother passed by and got some water too.
Silence filled the air between them and Georgina knew why her mother doesn’t want to talk to her or bother her. After what happened that night again, she raged. Georgina was really blue about her mother acting like this, alam niyang nahihirapan na ito sa sitwasyon nila.
