Georgina’s eyes were still widened about Charles’s father right in front of her. What he said made her absolutely confused so she stared at him again with her forehead creasing.

“I know this brought you shock but I think you’re one of the people that could help me right now.” Manuel said and held both of her shoulders before letting out a heavy sigh and looking down at the ground with his droopy eyes.

“I can’t take this anymore mi hija, gusto ko na siyang tulungan dahil naawa na ako sa sitwasyon niya, I may be a useless father in the past but now…this was just too much to bare for me.” Georgina was still unable to utter a word, hindi niya alam kung ano talaga ang nangyari
kaya para sa kaniya ay dapat talaga itong pag-usapan ng maayos.

“I guess we shall go ahead to our house tito so that we could talk clearly.” She suggested so Manuel immediately nodded and guided her towards his carriage.

When they all arrived at Georgina’s house, both of her parents were here and they’re also quite appalled to see Manuel together with her.

“Manuel..nandito ka.” Georgina’s father uttered to him while his hands were scratching his head.

“I would like to talk to mi hija…and also to the both of you, Leonardo.” Manuel told him so Georgina’s parents looked at each other first before letting them in.

“What would you like to have Manuel?” “Just a glass of water, please.” Agad naman na tumango ang ina ni Georgina bago ito tumalikod sa kanila. Manuel and her then sat on the sofa’s at their living room, she was now overthinking of what he will say, and it really made her heart beat fast all of a sudden just by gazing at Manuel’s worried eyes.

When her mother came back and held him a glass of water, ay agad na silang umupo at nag-ayos ng sarili bago tumingin at handa nang makinig sa sasabihin ni Manuel.

Manuel gazed at each one of them before closing his eyes to let out a short sigh.

“You all know that my son agreed to the plan my wife interacted at right?” he asked them first so they immediately nodded and waited for him to continue.

“He’s now having a hard time…and I can tell by looking at his own eyes, he’s hurt and he’s suffering really hard right now. Nag-usap kami nang isang araw at doon na nagbago ang isip ko, gusto niyang lumaban para hindi ito mangyari sa kaniya pero lagi niyang iniisip ang kapakanan mo mi hija.” Manuel looked at her with his watery eyes, her heart tightened when he said that Charles endured it a lot just for her.

“And also he still wanted to make Rosanna be proud at him…but what he’s doing right now is just beyond for me. He experienced a lot since he was a child at eto naman akong walang kwentang tatay ay hinayaan na lamang iyon dahil iniisip ko ang kabutihan para sa kaniya pero yung ganitong bagay? Ay tilang nawawala na ang pagiging ama ko sa kaniya.” Manuel tried to contain his tears inside him, kahit ngayon ay nasasaktan parin siya sa anak niya at nagsisi siya talaga sa pagwalang pakealam sa kaniya.

Georgina and her parents was really sad to hear that especially her, she knows that he is now in pain but she was just not that courageous to do so, because she would face not just an ordinary person but a crazy ruthless woman.

Her father tried to console him by sitting beside him and caressed his back slowly. “I wanted to save him from this, and that’s why I need your help Georgina…let’s fight together, lets claim him once again…I know you want to fight so that’s why I’m here.” Her entire body jolted with surprise to hear those words, that was so unexpected so she couldn’t move at the sofa she’s sitting at.
