Capítulo 6

“Come down now Sofia, breakfast is ready and eat now or you’ll be late for school.” Tawag ni Georgina sa kaniyang bunso habang siya ay nagluluto nang kanilang agahan.

“Ate? Did you see this pair of sock?” tanong ni Sofia  kaya agad siyang namewang.

“I’ve just putted it on your cabinet Sofia, gamitin mo nga yung mata mo at hindi yang bunganga mo.” Inis na sabi ni Georgina sa kaniyang bunso kaya agad lamang itong nagdabog paakyat sa kanilang kwarto.

When she finished cooking ay agad niyang kinuha ang kaniyang apron bago nag-ayos nang mga pinggan nila, she remembered what happened last night and she was smiling that Charles already came back and what they did yesterday was memorable, she was even happy and laughing now when she remembered that she slept on his lap at nagising lang siya dahil nandito na siya sa tapat nang kaniyang bahay. Charles was really her bestfriend and she really loves their own kind of relationship.

“Yey! Breakfast!” masayang sabi ni Sofia sa harap nang pagkain kaya agad na silang umupo at kumain and when they finished consuming it, Sofia grabbed her things and bid her farewell.

“Oh siya sige, mag-ingat ka!” pahuling sabi niya sa kaniyang bunso kaya agad itong kumaway bago ito lumakad na papalayo.

“Oh well, got to tidy up the whole house!” sabi niya sa kaniyang sarili kaya agad na siyang nagsimulang nagligpit at naglinis nang buong bahay, sweeping the floors, wiping the windows placing properly all their things and while she’s wiping some picture frames ay agad niyang nakita ang isang litrato niya kasama si Charles.

“Oh how joyous was this day was.” Natatawang sabi ni Georgina sa kaniyang sarili at agad na naalala ito ang araw kung saan silang nagtatalo kahit sila ay kinukunan na nang litrato, Señora Soledad told them strictly to stay put kaya naging ganiyan ang kanilang itsura, their foreheads creased, their mouths are pouting and crossing their arms while looking at the camera.

We look like idiots here Darwin, I wish we could stay like this forever…forever, what a strange word to ask for the both of us, we will be apart at the end for sure because we have our own lives…but I want to stay with him, does that mean I have to love him like more than a friend in able to be with him forever? No..no Georgina, he needs his life to continue with somebody else, he’s just your bestfriend…

After she cleaned everything in the house ay agad nalang siyang naligo para maging handa para sa kaniyang bisita mamaya, her customer will be here later so she quickly got her bath towel. While she was taking a bath she suddenly felt lonely of the thought she made a while ago, I think we’re going to be apart Charles because we’re just friends with an opposite gender not lovers…

Charles made a yawn when he wakes up on his own bed, it’s now late morning at ngayon lang siya nagising dahil uminom siya kagabi. He pushed his hair backwards before looking at the window, the sun is now up so he quickly got off on his bed and putted on his loose trousers and loose long sleeve polo dahil nakasanayan niyang matulog nang nakahubad, he also putted his night jacket and tied it on his waist.

“Buenos dias!” sabi ni Charles sa hangin nang binuksan niya na ang bintana nang kaniyang kwarto, he smelled the morning air that made him calm now.

After that he left his room and walk towards their kitchen, he didn’t saw his abuela there so he assumed that she’s still sleeping, he also noticed that his mamá and papá was not around so he asked one of their maids.
