Three days had passed and still no sign of Devon, I knew for now me and the baby were good and safe but still, we could not survive out here forever. Looking at her I had decided to name her Destiny.

She was sound asleep in her bassinet in the family room where I moved her to so I could keep an eye on her while I made something to eat, or to add more wood to the fire.

I was not moving around the best, but I remember what Doc. Had said no heavy lifting and rest as much as possible for the first week or two, and no sex for at least six weeks.

My body was still healing, and I rested a lot, when Destiny slept so did I. By the end of the week, I knew something had happened and I had a feeling Devon was not coming back to me.

"Now what am I to do little one, I need to figure out a way to get us back to our home" I whispered looking at her.

I heard a rustle at the door, I picked up my little girl quietly so not to wake her and was about to get ready to run, if necessary, suddenly, the door burst open and there stood the love of my life.

Tom saw that I was holding our baby and he rushed right over and wrapped his arms around us, he kept kissing the top of my head and my lips, I was crying "I never thought I would see you again, I wasn't sure what I was going to do, Devon left a bit over a week ago and he hasn't been back since" I said between the sobs.

Darryle and Derek came running in and stopped when they saw me holding a little bundle close to my chest, "Ath?" they asked, "I had a baby girl, I named her Destiny" I said with a smile.

"Who helped you?" Derek asked, "No one, I did it all on my own, the way Doc. Told me too" I said proud of myself.

"That's our Ath, full of surprises and strength" Both brothers said together. I laughed, it felt so good to be with all of them again. I looked up at Tom, "what happened to Devon and how did you find me?" I asked sitting down on the couch.

Devon was in town, drunk bragging how you and he were back together at his parents' cabin, someone told Doc and he got ahold of us telling us everything, my dad knew where this place was so here, we are" Tom said sitting next to me not letting me go.

"I am so happy that you all are here, but I am ready to go home now" I said looking at Tom and kissing his lips again, he wrapped his arms around me, and we both cried for a bit while the brothers held Destiny so Tom and I could just realize that this was not a dream.

We loaded everything up into the sleds that were changed with covers and heaters, we took off for home. After the hour drive, we were back in our house, I was so happy to be home.

I fed Destiny and placed her in her room in her bassinet, making sure the windows were locked and the blinds were pulled down. I left her door open and went into the kitchen to get something to drink.

"Baby go sit down and relax, Doc is on his way here with his wife, she is all in a tizzy wanting to make sure you both are safe and healthy" Tom said with a smile. That woman would move heaven and hell to get to me with how I thought of her like a mother.

Within the hour, Doc and Mrs. Were here and Destiny and I got a clean bill of health, I was to take it easy and on bedrest for two weeks and Doc would be back out here to check on us.

Destiny was a perfect seven pounds, four ounces of pure delight. Doc and his wife fell in love with her, "she is perfect Ath, you did an amazing job delivering her on your own, very proud of you" he said as he gave me a hug.

They stayed overnight at the brother's place in Toms old room, they wanted one more day with us plus I think Doc, wanted his holding her time longer than he got tonight.
