Tom paid the bill, and we left the restaurant, deciding to head home since our shopping was done. Once in the car we headed to the airport to meet up with Tim.

Once we arrived, we saw a few of those guys from the restaurant standing by the plane. "I want you to stay in the car and lock the doors" Tom said not taking his eyes off the group of men.

"You know I can just take your hand and go with you" I said even though as it came out, I knew he would not agree to that.

"No Ath, I don't know what I would do if they even laid one finger on you sweetheart, at least here I know you could get away if needed" Tom took my hand and kissed it.

I just nodded my head, I knew what was about to go down, I wished Derek and Darryle were here to back him up, then these butterflies would not be bouncing around so much.

As soon as Tom got out of the car, I locked the doors and slide over to the driver side, watching Tom walk towards the men was a remarkable sight.

Sitting there I did not know what I should do, there were five of those idiotic guys and then there was Tom, he was larger by far than any of them.

In height and built, Tom was like a freight train, but even with his size he was stealthy and walked with power that commanded attention wherever he went.

Toms cell phone rang, seeing it was Derek, I answered it, after a minute of talking another car pulled up and I saw six men get out. I hung up the phone with Derek since the guys that pulled up were from Toms clan.

I blew a sigh of relief when the other guys saw what was happening and they all took off.

Once I knew they were gone I opened the car door and went to Tom, wrapping my arms around his waist, "see sweetheart I told you nothing to worry about" Tom said with a chuckle.

"Ath, I want to introduce you to some of the clan, this is Steve, Troy, Luke, Devan, Terry, Mike, guys this is Ath" Tom introduced us, and we all said hi.

I went back to the car to get my purse and I saw Tim walk out of the hanger and open the plane door for us.

Tom said his goodbyes and we boarded the plane for home. Once we were settled and the plane took off, "is everything okay love?" I asked Tom, seeing that he was looking out the window.

"Everything will be love, just a few of us are going to have to make it known that we are together, and people just better get over it or else the clan are going to enforce some minor consequences for those that oppose" he said as he looked at me.

My body shuddered slightly, knowing that tone he used was one of the reasons why Tom was a force to be reckoned with. I leaned up and kissed his lips softly.

Tom unbuckled me and pulled me onto his lap, where we spent the rest of the flight exploring each other.

The next month flew by faster than I wanted it to, the party was only in two weeks for now and I was not sure if I had everything. I was constantly on the phone with Daisy.

Between the both of us she assured me that everything would be fine and that everything is set.

What Tom did not understand was that we were also going to be getting married in front of his whole family and friends. I was nervous about everything just being perfect.

Tom walked up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist, "everything is going to be perfect love" he said as he kissed the top of my head.

Leaning into his chest, I soaked up his warmth, "I know but I can't help it I want to make sure everything is just right" I said closing my eyes and just relaxing into his arms.

"Why don't we go for a ride?" he asked as he took ahold of my hand and started to lead me out the front door. Destiny was with her two uncles out in the barn with the animals.

That little one loved being out there amongst the animals, even as young as she is, she was already forming a bond with them.

Waking up to the smell of coffee was always a great start to my day, I felt for Tom, but his side was cold, knowing he did not sleep well with everything that had been on his mind since we got back from town.

Getting up out of bed I slipped on my robe, the house was a tad chilly but with it being summer we did not need a fire going all the time.

Walking out to the kitchen I saw Tom feeding Destiny, I stopped for a moment to watch them. You could see the love in his eyes for his daughter.

We both talked about it and Destiny did not need to know that Tom was not her father, plus I never wanted to think of Devon ever again. To me Tom was Destiny's father.

Tom looked up and smiled, "there's mommy" he said, and Destiny turned her little head around and looked for me, once she saw me, she smiled and squeaked.

I smiled and went over to my daughter, "good morning sunshine" I said as I kissed the top of her head, "good morning love" as I kissed Tom, "coffees ready for you baby" he said as he finished feeding Destiny.

Grabbing my coffee and sitting at the table while Tom cleaned up Destiny then once she was set, she wanted down.

That little girl was always on the move, as soon as she was down off, she crawled to her toys in the family room. Within a few minutes Derek and Darryle walked in.

Destiny squealed when she saw both, and not even a good morning to us, the brothers went right over to her and sat down with Destiny and loved her.

This little girl was lucky as one could be, she was loved and protected forever. Her two uncles would give anything to make sure she knew that she was loved.

Tom and I sat there with our coffee watching the three of them laugh and play for a few minutes.

Once Destiny was done with them, she turned her back and started to play on her own. That was her cue to leave her be, we have all learned that one fast.

"Good morning" Derek and Darryle both said as they helped themselves to coffee, "Morning" Tom said watching his brothers help themselves as he shook his head.

"I know you have coffee and such at your place" Tom said getting up to grab more coffee for me, "we do, but it tastes better over here" Derek said smiling at me.

I just shook my head, "No you were just too lazy to make any" I said smirking at the brothers when they faked their shocked looks. Tom laughed and filled my cup for me.

"So, what's on the game plan for today?" Darryle asked sitting down next to me, "nothing major I just want to check on the plants and I know Daisy is going to be coming here for a few days to help me finalize the plans" I said leaning back in my chair.

I heard a round of groans, I had to laugh at the guys who loved their mother, but they knew she was also hell of wheels when it was just her without her husband around.

"That means mom is going to be staying with us, doesn't it?" Derek asked with a look on his face, knowing they were going to have to clean their house.

"Yes, she will be staying in the spare bedroom at your place," Tom said, getting up to make breakfast. "Well after we eat, we will need to go clean the house before we hear it for the next year" Darryle said sipping his coffee.

Having Daisy here was a nice treat for me at least, she kept her boys in line and made sure they were pulling their weight around the farm.

Making sure the firewood was filled and that the meat shed was full and rotated for us, the animals were taken care of and that the garden barn was ready for fall.

I did not have to do much when she was around but spend time with Destiny and one of the nights, she took Destiny over to the other house so Tom and I could have a date night.

Even though we stayed in the house it was nice to spend the night with just us two. I think we have not had that much sex in a long time. By the next morning Tom joked that after last night I should be pregnant.

That was what his mother was secretly hoping for and honestly so did I. I would love to have another baby with Tom, and he was thinking the same thing as I was.
