THE REALM...
I smiled after hearing Julie's words, then returning my attention to the book between my hand. So far, I've read almost the entire history of The Four Realms Agreement, and I could already see several imperfections in how the storyline develops. Somehow, the kingdoms separated due to betrayal between the four lands. However, it never mentions the source of it. According to the book, the first kingdom to step back from the agreement was the Brimstone Ashen Kingdom. But I don't believe that piece of information; after all, Yeonjun's land holds a high standard for its morals and unbreakable promises.
The history the book explains doesn't make sense at all. So, I wonder if inside other history books from other kingdoms, the storyline changes and targets someone else as the traitor.
No. Perhaps none of the realms have any idea of who started the issues between them. Therefore, the culprit for the Downfall of Harmony is still out there.
As I kept wandering through my thoughts, I forgot the time and space; I focused on the things I know and those I want to discover. But I felt tingles on the back of my neck, making me get out of my head. I looked to my left and saw Julie staring back at me, a leaf flying against my neck.
-You spaced out pretty intensely. So, I thought you needed to come back to reality. – Julie spoke before withdrawing the cast of the leaf, making it fall to the ground.
-I'm thinking about many things right now. But I want to ask you, do you know something else about the royal knights you saw last night? – I curiously questioned.
-It was indeed my father and his partner. So, ability-wise, both of them are level eight. But the woman at Jewel Manor seemed first-class; however, I couldn't tell how advanced she is. – Julie disclosed, slightly frowning.
-Your father has eight levels? – I questioned, surprised.
Julie nodded. -I didn't expect my father to keep his eight levels; after all, he's an ambitious man. – Julie admitted.
That's odd. My father always wants to evolve the royal knights' levels to have more protection around the kingdom. So, I wonder why in Crystal Hall the conditions aren't the same.
-Your majesty, can I intervene with your thoughts? – Julie questioned, which I nodded for in response. -Right now, the majority of the sorcerers from our age aren't skilled enough. At least, I am not. So, why don't we wait? We can get more powerful after our studies. – Julie pointed out, making me glance back at her.
-I don't want to plan anything yet, Julie. Right now, I want to put the pieces together and study hard. – I assured Julie, causing her to smile slightly.
