THE REALM...
Julie continued to hold me tight, causing me to give her the same affection back. But while grasping her waist with my arms, I felt something odd, a feeling I couldn't explain. Julie's words repeated inside my head as I keep her close to me, and a sensation of fear invade my body, telling me to let go of her and do what she told me, heal. I battled with my demons for some moments before caressing the back of Julie's head, briefly stepping away from her. But before I could say something to her, I heard people talking, their tone loud and annoyed.
-What's going on? – Julie asked, confused.
-I have no idea. – I replied before walking towards the library entrance, soon peeking through the door into the hallway. Immediately, my eyes caught my father beside some royal knights; everybody is getting inside the meeting lounge with disturbed looks on their faces.
-Royal knights? What are they doing here? – Julie questioned as we got out of the library.
-I don't know, but I want to find out. – I said before walking towards the meeting lounge's doors. Briefly, I stood close to the entrance, attempting to hear something about the conversation.
-It doesn't make sense! Northwall has always been the capital of Rossview Icelands Kingdom; why are people complaining about it now? – The king, my father, asked.
-Our king, Crystal Hall was the first capital of the territory; therefore, the subjects aren't lying about the sudden change of the central city when you took the position as our leader. – One of the royal knights mentioned, making my eyes widen at his words.
Crystal Hall was our central city. How?
-Our king, we have to take harsher measures with the people in Crystal Hall. The royal knights from that part of the kingdom aren't attending your orders anymore. – The other royal knight spoke before I stepped aside, briefly spacing out, trying to think about my next move.
-Taehyun? – Julie looked at me, confused. She moved my arm as I continued to wander through my head, wanting to find the answer to my inquiries.
The basement, like Huening Kai and Soobin-hyung, told me.
Instantly, after having an evident trail inside my head, I glanced at Julie. -Come. We don't have much time before my father discovers you are here. – I told Julie before holding her hand, quickly guiding her away from the hallway.
-Where are we going, Taehyun? – Julie asked, confused.
-My room. – I said while hurrying up my pace, avoiding every corridor with people in it.
