THE REALM...
We spend time recollecting flowers and plants, new species Julie has never seen. It made me feel happy to see her so excited due to the simplest things. However, I wondered about the similarities she has with my mother. It's curious since she also said I reminded her of her mother. But besides my thoughts, Julie and I had a pleasant time together; it almost made us forget everything going on around us.
Currently, we are sitting down while enjoying the view from the small hill we found while seeking flowers. The freshness of the spring is here, and the snow is melting faster to bring some warmth to this time. But it appears like I'm the only one looking at the horizon since Julie is distracted while writing in her notebook about the flowers we found.
-Are the flowers everything you wanted? – I curiously asked while looking at Julie.
-Yes, but as I look at them, I realize you were right about this place. Somehow, the plants have more life due to the magnitude of magic in this zone. – Julie disclosed before placing her pencil down, and then she looked at me. -And also, I've been wondering how we found this place. Regardless of our feelings, I question if there's anything else connecting us. – Julie admitted, causing me to smile at her words.
Perhaps our connection isn't something that happened out of the blue, but it's hard to tell when more things are happening around us; it doesn't let us focus on each other.
I sighed while focusing on my thoughts, but soon I focused on the view ahead while subtly smiling.
-I don't know either, but I'm glad we found it together. – I admitted as Julie smiled at my response. -However, I think we should leave; the sun is going down, and I promised my mother I wouldn't return late. – I spoke, which Julie nodded for in response. But before I could stand up, she caressed my hair with her fingers, looking at me slightly worried.
-Are you okay? – Julie asked.
I held her hand and nodded. -Yes, I'm only thinking about several things. – I assured Julie before standing up and walking towards my horse.
Julie followed me and saved her stuff inside the bag her horse is carrying. Then, she jumped on its back and looked at me.
-Have you named her? – Julie asked, referring to my horse.
-I thought about it a few moments ago, and I believe she's a gorgeous creature. So, I like how "Bella" sounds. – I said while holding my horse's leash, guiding her out of the woods.
-Bella. It's a cute name. – Julie said while riding beside me, following the path we took to get here.
-Sorry, I tried hard to find something that suited my partner. – I admitted, but Julie only chuckled before smiling at me.
