"WE NEED TO IGNORE IT!"

"Are you INSANE? No, I'm actually asking you if you are INSANE, BECAUSE ONLY A CRAZY PERSON WOULD IGNORE THIS!"

"You son of a-" Amy squeezed my hand. I looked over at her, and smiled gratefully. The only reason they let me into the meeting was in case I knew something, which so far, I didn't. They tried to make Amy leave, but she kicked and punched... I might have slammed a lot of people into the wall with wind. But now, I honestly wish that we didn't come at all. They had been fighting for almost an hour now, and over one stupid piece of paper, with a really bad rhyme written out.

Forkle has been caught-

You have not. Come alone
to the bumbling lott, anyone

else and you friend Forkle is done.
Het Edn Si
 Gnomic
Oztiryf smut Ojin

It was by far, the worst poem I have ever heard. I mean, they even spelled 'lot' wrong. Did they really- but the Neverseen is pretty smart. I doubt that they'd make a mistake like that. Unless they were calling someone else out, for making a stupid mistake. And they didn't say who should come, so maybe the person who made the mistake was one of them. And which case, bumbling would have to be the place. Bumbling... I would have to come back to that. The last two lines are what people have been fighting over, especially the word Gnomic. There are a bunch of random words in there... what if they aren't random? What if they aren't the enlightened language, and they are mixed up english words? The Neverseen had Mr.Forkle, and he probably already cracked and told them everything, including that I spoke english. I wanted to get a piece of paper to jot down my notes, but because none of the adults were paying attention to us, so I grabbed the message, Amy's arm, and ran outside. There was some mud, and I guess our fingers would work, although I really wanted a stick.

"What's going on?" Amy asked. She had followed me out here, not knowing any part of my plan.

"ITHINKTHATTHEWORDSARESCRAMBLEDENGLISH!" I rushed, not stopping to breathe. Amy and I have known each other so long, that she didn't even need me to repeat it. I might marry this girl one day...

"If that's true, we need to start! Het is... well there is a he in there.. not hte.." Her brow furrowed in concentration, and she looked so cute. "THE!" Amy burst out, startling me. She was so smart. I gave her a quick peck on the lips, which made her face turn rosey. She tasted sweet, like fresh bubblegum.

"The next one... maybe something to do with the garden of eden?  And they use E twice?" I suggested.

"True, but then it wouldn't follow the rest of the pattern. And shouldn't it be the garden, and not the edan?" Amy replied, and I sat down as soon as I realized what it was.

"End. And si isn't a spanish yes, it's an english is. The end is." Saying it tasted sour, a little bit bitter. I guessed we had about 5 minutes before they realized the paper was gone, and another 7 before they found us. "Okay." I said, looking directly into Amy's eye. "Let's figure this out fast."

It turns out we had closer to 30 minutes before they found us, and we were almost done. We just had one word that we couldn't figure out.

"Maybe... forty? What if there are going to be forty of something?" Amy suggested, when Edaline and.. I want to say Alden opened the door and stormed outside.

"What were you guys thinking?" Edaline said, grabbing the piece of paper.

"More than you were." I mumbled, and Amy jabbed me with her finger. "We figured it out. The words are scrambled english." I looked around to see open mouths, and all eyes on me.  "What?"

"Vi, you're not speaking english."  Amy said, looking a little spooked.

"Oh. I guess we were right about the manifesting part." Alden's face was unreadable, but Edaline looked excited.

"Anyway." Amy began, clearing her throat. Being the only one without a special ability must get tiresome. I realized I was going to have to explain it, because Edaline didn't appear to know english, as much as she might seem wise.

"So, the words were scrambled english letters. The message... it's... pretty dark. We still have one word we need to figure out."

"Well! What is it?" Alden said, sounding impatient.

"The end is coming. That's what Gnomic meant! I bet they wanted to make us pick a fight with the Gnomes, instead of figuring it out." Edaline's grin faded, because I realize I also just told her that we were all going to kill Neverseen or die trying. "The next part we haven't quite figured out yet, but we know that smut Ojin Is must join. We don't know what Ozitryf  means, but we-"

"Fitzory." Alden cut me off. "The end is coming, Fitzory must join."
