Voices rushed around me, which told me that Glimmer had done her job. And I really didn't want to kill her entire family, and it would have been such a shame to end Tam's life. I rose from my bed, and everyone stopped moving.

"It's good to be back." I said, my lips curving upwards. As soon as I spoke, cheers erupted throughout the room. My body felt a little stiff, but that was only a small side effect. Actually being dead was much worse. I had felt so much pain, and Keefe.. well, it wasn't his fault. He didn't know who I was, so he had just reacted. My throat had a small pink scar, and I swallowed hard. I know that Keefe hadn't remembered me, and that was the only reason he had done what he had. Well, that's what I was telling myself. Just as I was wondering where Glimmer was, she stepped forward from the shadows. She pulled her hood off, revealing her Elvin features. Her blonde hair fell in curls to her side, her dull blue eyes sunken and tired. "Glimmer."  I snapped, which caused her to flinch back, and cover herself with her arms. "Good work." Surprise dawned on her face, and she gave a little grin before she scurried away. As I was leaving the table, Ruy approached me, hood on. I flicked my wrist, and the Elves surrounding us darted out of the dark room. Ruy was shaking, and still had their hood on.

"Lady..." Ruy's shaking intensifies, wringing their wrists.

"I just wanted to thank you. You've done a wonderful job of locating Glimmer, and keeping my son safe." As soon as I said the word son, Ruy stopped shaking.

"I have failed." Ruy's voice echoed throughout the room, and threw their hood off. They picked up their Addler, and threw it across the room, so I could see their face. Her face. Her red locks fell around her face, and full lips twisted into a frown. "Keefe... was hurt in the battle. One of our own struck him while his back is turned, and our sources said the last time he was seen... he was face down in the dirt." Anger flashed up my body, so fast that I stuck her with the back of my hand. "But!" Ruy screamed, before I threw myself at her. "He has been dead less than a week. There is a chance Glimmer could retrieve him, and bring him back."

"Leave me." I spat, and Ruy ran across the room to fetch their addler, like a puppy chasing a bone. Keefe... my boy. He was so young, and he had died with hate in his heart, forgetting his own mother. If there was any chance that he could be brought back, I would go to any lengths. Even if it means killing everyone who gets in my way.

(a/n so sorry for the short chapter! But I basiclly said everything that needed to be said... INCLUDING THE FACT THAT KEEFE COULD BE BROUGHT BACK!! 😁😆🥰 HAHHAHAH sorry for the cliffhanger. Bye!!)
