(a/n I just spelled Sophie 'Sohpei'. Something's very wrong with me. ANyWaY, Sorry I haven't updated lately. I'll try to be better!!)

Tears blurred my vision, barely registering that Biana and Lihn were lifting Keefe up telepathically, and that when he moved more blood was being spilled. All I could think about was that he had a pulse, and that he wouldn't leave me again. As my vision began to clear, I launched onto my feet, and followed them to Elwins office. Keefe's stomach was leaving a trail of blood behind him, which I almost slipped on. His hands had gone limp by his sides, so I reached out to grab one. I had no idea why he wasn't dead yet, everything that school had taught me all pointed to the obvious. That my school was useless, and had taught me nothing of substance, only taking away bits of my sanity. (a/n that's definitely not pointed at my school...) All of the hallways looked the same, but Lihns determined face told me she knew where she was going. Elwin turned the corner, arms full of elixirs.

"Elwin!" I shrieked, startling so bad he dropped two glasses, which shattered on impact.

"Rhaich." He said breathlessly, and ran back down the hall. "Put him down!" Elwin yelled over his shoulder, and Biana wiped away a few tears. Keefe's body was laid on the hard floor, and I hovered over his head, in case he woke. I stroked his hair back, hoping that I'd be able to see his ice blue eyes one last time. My sobbing had stopped, but Biana's had just started. Lihn patted her back, and I had completely forgotten about Amy and Violet. Violet was trying to carry her over to us, but she looked like she was in immense pain. Amy was bleeding from multiple legs, and Violets shoulder slowly spreading scarlet throughout her shirt. I focused back on Keefe, where I tuned everything else but him out.  I could hear footsteps pounding down the hallways, but I focused on Keefe. Just as I turned my attention to him, his eyes shot open. His eyes looked scared, and as he looked up at me, his face turned into a smile.

"Sophie.." He smiled, closing his eyes. "I remember.." He closed his eyes, and Elwin was almost here.

"You remember what. Keefe? KEEFE!" I yelled trying to wake him up. Someone was crying so hard I couldn't hear anything else, and that's when I realized it was me. I wiped my tears away, and I saw Keefe talk again. This time blood was coming from his mouth, soaking my shirt.

"Everything." Bullhorn flew down the hallway, and he was yelling the loudest I've ever heard him. Keefe slowly closed his eyes, and Bullhorn laid down next to him.

"Keefe- No! NO! Please, god, no.." I blubbered. Arms were around me, trying to pull me away from him. Elwin was leaning over his body, muttering in old Elvin. 'Too late.. No force life...' He mumbled, which roughly translated to 'no pulse.' That caused me to thrash even harder, and punch whoever was holding me in the face. They cried out, but realised me. I rushed over to him, and grabbed onto his hand. It felt cold and empty, and that's when I knew Keefe wasn't there anymore. Numbness consumed me, and I fell to the floor next to the love of my life. The dead love of my life.
