The sun shone through the windows into the compound as I lay watching The Good Place with Bucky. We were sprawled out on the cool wood flooring, trying to hide from the scorching sun.
Natasha walked in and tapped me lightly with her foot. "Come, baby," she took my hand and pulled me up. I smiled apologetically at Bucky before allowing myself to be pulled away by my girlfriend.
"Where are we going?" I asked my girlfriend who was smiling an awful lot more than usual. "You'll see," was all she told me. I sighed and continued to follow her.
We went outside to the fields behind the compound where there was a cute little blanket and a basket set up. "What's all this for?" I asked Natasha, a smile creeping it's way onto my face.
"Just because I love you so much," she kissed me softly. We sat down and ate little sandwiches and a bunch of other things she had thrown together for our picnic. I lay my head on her lap eating a strawberry as Natasha smiled down at me sweetly.
She laced her hand with mine and rested them gently on my stomach. We spoke about anything and everything without a care in the world. I liked this side of Natasha, not many other people got the privilege of seeing her like this.
My phone started to ring, it was Tony. She quickly grabbed my phone and started running through the field, holding it high in the air. I ran after her, giggling as I tried to catch up to the former assassin.
Eventually I caught up to her and jumped on her, both of us rolling on the grass, laughing like little kids. We packed everything up and walked inside hand in hand.
We walked into the kitchen and I sat on the counter, watching as she put stuff away. "I love you," I told her. "I love you too baby," she smiled back at me before kissing me softly.
Tony walked in with a scowl on his face, but it quickly turned into a smirk when he saw us, "hello lovebirds." I whipped my head around, startled by his sudden presence, so fast I probably should have got whiplash.
I cleared my throat, "Tony." He laughed, "don't stop on my account, I was enjoying the show." If looks could kill, Tony would've dropped dead on the spot considering the look Natasha was giving him.
He put his arms up in defence and slowly backed out of the room, "just wanted to see some girl on girl action."
After Tony left, Natasha grabbed my hand and pulled me into the elevator, "my room or yours?" she asked.
