Snow~ Natasha

a/n: today i woke up and it had been snowing all night and there was like a full on blizzard when i went out, safe to say i was happy to have an excuse to wear my pink holographic doc martens :)

Smiling at the view from your bedroom window, you admired the beautiful white, crystal-like fluffy snow falling from the pure, bright sky. Everything was so much prettier coated in the sparkling, beautiful powder.

The clicking of your girlfriend's keyboard could be heard from down the hall, she had been busy with a mission report all morning. You admired her work ethic however you did miss her whenever she spent the whole day in her office.

You stood up from your chair and quietly made your way to the room Natasha used for working in. Hesitantly knocking, you walked in and stood in front of her desk. She smiled up at you quickly before looking back at her computer.

"Everything okay?" she asked you after you stood in silence for a while. You were always nervous about interrupting Natasha while she was working, afraid she would get annoyed at you, "it's snowing."

Smiling up at you, she rounded her table and grabbed your hand before pulling you into your bedroom. She threw a pair of fluffy socks at you before dragging you downstairs and helping you into your jacket and boots.

She slipped on her own shoes before giddily rushing out the door, holding onto your hand tightly as she almost slipped into the 9 inches of cloudy snow. "You don't have to be afraid of talking to me while I work, you know?" she gently placed her hands on your cheeks.

"I just get scared you'll get mad," you shamefully sigh. "I could never be mad at you, you're too precious for that," she kissed your nose slightly before throwing some snow she had behind her back at you.

"How did you pick that up so fast?" you were shivering, freezing from the cold. "I'm a spy, it's what I do," she smirked. You made a little ball of snow in your hands before throwing it towards the avenger, making her laugh and throw some back at you.

When you went to gather more, she noticed your slightly shaking hands and quickly took off her gloves and before putting them on you and bringing your hands up to her mouth and blowing some warm air on them, rubbing them between hers.

"I'm fine, Nat," you protested to which she ignored. "I can't have you getting hypothermia and dying, who would I cuddle at night?" she kissed your hands before letting them go. "Liho," you grinned.

"But I don't want to cuddle Liho without you," she pouted, making you giggle at her childlike expression. "I won't die, not while I have you to protect me," you stood on the tips of your toes to press a soft kiss to her lips.

"Jesus, you're freezing," she pulled your hat over your eyes, making you reach forward for her, instead tripping over your own feet face first into the freezing snow. "Tasha," you grumbled. "I'm sorry, baby," she couldn't help but laugh at your misfortune.

"I'm taking a bath," you got up and went inside. "Wait for me," she ran after you. "No, you're the reason I'm cold," it was your turn to pout. "I love you, detka," she kissed you gently, embracing you in a warm hug. "I love you too," you pulled Natasha upstairs to help you warm up.
