Natalia~ Natasha Romanoff

Y/n lay on the couch, ready to fall asleep when she heard her girlfriend come into the room. She came and pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead before walking over to the kitchen.

"Natalia?" she called out to her. Nat didn't reply so y/n propped herself up on her elbow and looked over to the kitchen. Nat was frantically reading the calendar, wondering if she had forgotten something.

"Can you get me some water please?" y/n asked her. She nodded quickly and rushed to bring her a glass of water. She looked extremely worried, "is everything okay?"

"Yeah I'm just really tired after that mission," y/n smiled weakly. "How did it go?" she asked. "It was okay, Thor and I just talked for most of it, it was nice to catch up with him."

Natasha nodded though her mind was somewhere completely different, y/n never called her by her full name. It was always Nat or a little pet name. She was worried she had done something wrong or forgotten something.

"Do you want to go to bed?" Nat asked her girlfriend. "No it's okay, I'm comfy here and my body hurts," y/n replied. Natasha smiled and walked over to the kitchen again, "do you want any painkillers?" Y/n shook her head, "no thanks, you know how I feel about taking them."

Natasha rattled her brain for anything that might have gotten y/n upset, but yet again, she couldn't think of anything. She gripped her girlfriend's small hand under the blanket, squeezing it gently.

"Baby," the redhead asked. Y/n hummed in response, her eyes closing as she was worn out after her mission. The Russian lay down on the couch behind y/n, cuddling up to her back.

"Are you mad at me?" she asked, tears welling up in her eyes. Y/n turned around to face to her girlfriend, her face falling upon seeing her lover's worried state.

"No, of course not. Why?" she questioned. "You called me Natalia earlier, I thought you might have been mad me for something," she told the younger girl. Y/n placed one of her warm hands on Natasha's cheek, "sorry, love, I didn't realise. I'm just tired and my head is all over the place."

"Don't worry about it, дорогой (dorogoy). I was just overthinking."

"Can we go to bed please Natasha. I'm tired," y/n pouted at her girlfriend. "Of course, baby," she told her, lifting up her lover and carrying her to bed.

Natasha gazed at her girlfriend as they lay in bed. Y/n cracked open an eye and met the gaze of her girlfriend. "Are you okay?" she smiled.

"I'm just so glad I have you in my life," she returned her smile pulling her closer to her chest. She felt y/n's wide grin against her chest and replicated the expression on her face.

"Goodnight, дорогой," Natasha whispered against her girlfriend's head.
