This was never the way I planned

My dad was having another one of his parties with the avengers but for once I was invited. I hadn't really met many of the avengers before so this was new. Steve had asked me if I needed an escort, I politely agreed. Who was I to turn down Captain America.

I was getting ready with the Black Widow and Scarlet Witch, I couldn't help but notice how beautiful the former looked.

"Hello? Earth to y/n?" Scarlet Witch waved her hand in front of my face. She put her hand on mine and her eyes lit up red for a brief second. Just great, now she knows what I'm thinking about. She gave me a wink and walked away.

Everyone had had quite a few drinks and I ended up bonding really well with everyone. It was Hawkeye's idea to play truth or dare.

"Y/n, truth or dare?" Thor asked me.

"Dare, I'm no coward," I told him.

He handed me a glass filled with Asgardian mead, "you've got ten minutes to drink this entire glass," he explained.

We kept playing and before I knew it, it was my turn again.

"Dare," I told the sokovian witch. "Okay well I dare you to kiss the hottest person in the room," she told me with a wink. I looked to my left where Black Widow was sitting and she smirked at me.

I leaned in to kiss her and she grabbed my face pulling me closer.

It was different, to say the least. Not a bad different, just new. Her touch was so soft, as were her lips.

I could taste the chapstick on them, it was definitely cherry flavoured. I pulled away and rested my forehead on hers, smiling at her.

I had always known I was bisexual but i had never kissed a girl before. "Alright love birds that's enough," Tony said as he looked ready to strangle the Russian assassin next to me. She pulled me in for another kiss and I wasn't complaining.

I realised I probably should've kissed Steve, considering he was my date to the party. I looked at him with a sheepish grin but he just smiled encouragingly at me.

I didn't know how she felt, was it the right thing to do. What if she didn't like me back? Well either way I enjoyed it very much and I hope she felt the same way. The grin on her face told me she did.

I realised then that I didn't actually know anyone's actual names. I just knew them by their superhero names. My dad was very protective over me and I wasn't allowed to know about any avengers business.

I didn't care though, all that mattered was that Black Widow is a great kisser. It's not like I'm the first person to kiss someone of the same gender.

My dad pulled me aside. "What on earth do you think you're doing young lady?" he whisper shouted at me so the others couldn't hear. "Relax dad, it was just a dare," you told him, slurring your words. That Asgardian mead really did things to midgardians.

"You can't just go around kissing avengers y/n!" he told me. "Dad I don't even know any of their names, you've always been so protective over me, you've never let me have any real friends. I grew up playing with an AI for god's sake just let me be independent for once!" I retorted.

He looked down at me with a very I'm not angry I'm just disappointed look. "You're drunk, y/n, go to bed," he told me with a firm tone, there was no point arguing with drunk Tony.

I lay awake in bed for a while just think about the kiss. It was amazing, why had I never kissed girls before. I was missing out on so much.

I recalled the feeling of her lips on mine, the alcohol making my brain all fuzzy. I stumbled to my bathroom before throwing up. I felt someone holding my hair back for me.

I looked behind me and Black Widow was on her knees rubbing my back. She stayed on the bathroom floor with me until I stopped throwing up, then she carried me to bed. I fell asleep in her arms that night, her skin was so soft on mine.

"Hey, I never got your name," I mumbled. "Natasha, Natasha Romanoff," she told me before kissing the top of my head and we fell asleep in each other's embrace.
