If you could breathe right now, you would be screaming in pain. Your girlfriend was being absolutely brutal towards you, claiming she had your best interests in mind. Every time she made you go again, your muscles burned and ached a little bit more.

"Come on, baby, one more for me," she encouraged you.

"I can't," tears welled up in your eyes. "Yes you can, I'll help you," she kissed you softly, massaging your legs to help ease the pain.

A loud yelp erupted from your throat when you finally finished, you were ready to lecture your girlfriend for pushing you too far when she looked at you with her dorky smile and bright eyes.

"You did so good," she hugged you tightly before pulling away quickly, "and you're really sweaty."

Scoffing, you crossed your arms across your chest, "I am never working out with you again."

"Oh come on, you just beat your own record for press-ups," she enthusiastically grinned. Your body couldn't hold itself up anymore, so you leaned into Kate's body, letting her pick you up and help you shower.

The warm water soothed the pain slightly, you were just glad your girlfriend didn't suggest an ice bath. Gently, she washed your hair, using your favourite shampoo that she knew you loved.

She quickly wrapped you up in fluffy towels, keeping you close to her as she brushed your hair. Helping you get into some clothes, she started walking out of the room when she noticed you weren't following her.

"You coming?" she came back over to you. "I can't," you groaned, reaching out for her to pick you up. "You're too cute," she giggled. "Not cute, in pain," you mumbled into her neck.

When you got to the kitchen, she got some of Yelena's macaroni out of the fridge, giving it to you. "Do you want any?" you asked her. She shook her head, grabbing smoothies for both of you.

She ate some leftover chicken from the fridge while you watched Sam and Bucky fight, laughing until your sides hurt. "Where did it go?" the super soldier yelled. "Why would I know?" the captain rolled his eyes. "Because you're always around whenever anything goes missing!" Bucky yelled.

"I took it," Kate whispered in your ear. "You're trouble," you shook your head, laughing subtly at her antics.

After you both ate, your girlfriend carried you over to the couch, turning on your favourite show for you. "Do you think they'll figure out I took it?" she asked you, frowning when she got no reply. As she looked down at you, she noticed your relaxed features, realising you were asleep already.

"Night night, baby," she kissed the top of your head lightly, careful not to wake you. It amused her that you could get so tired from what was to her a normal workout, she still loved you regardless, of course. Nothing could change that.
