Yesterday Morning

It had been a long time since Titan Black, Beta of the Silvermoon pack had been home, he missed it, he missed the smells, the scenery, hell he even missed Hilda, he chuckled at the thought of his nanny, the way she ran after him and his brother when they were young after they had gotten into trouble again, they could never be scared of Hilda, she was a big imposing lady, but when she opened her mouth and spoke, her broken English had always made them laugh.

"what are you thinking about Brother" Hunter, Titans younger brother asked

Hunter Black was the Delta of their pack, but also he was the commander of the Royal Guard, Titan was so proud of his brother, but the one thing he really wanted was for himself and his brother to find their mates, he knew Hunter didn't want one and to appease his wolf he slagged about a bit, well actually a lot, but he couldn't blame his brother he wished he could do the same, but unfortunately he couldn't bring himself to do it, he unlike his brother wanted, no he needed his mate and wouldn't settle for anything less, that is why they had been traveling around for nearly 2 years, his brother had business for the King, but he had an ulterior motive, he wanted to find his mate.

They had been travelling for nearly 2 years going from pack to pack, but they hadn't found their mates.

"I'm fine Hunter I'm just regretting being away from home for so long, I actually missed it" he looked at his brother and shrugged his shoulders.

"the sooner you choose a mate the better Titan, your wolf is driving you mad" Hunter was worried for his older brother, he tried to send a lot of girls his way to try and keep his brothers wolf at bay, he knew what happens to a male wolves who take too long to find their mate, it would eventually send them mad, he could tell his brother was losing a bit of his sanity, he hoped that the Alpha could persuade him to just choose a she wolf to be his mate and sooner or later his wolf would accept her.

Hunter sighed "Ti you know you will have to choose your mate when we get home don't you, it's for the best, I can live from pussy to pussy, but you won't even have a sniff, it's not normal brother"

"what's not normal Hunter is the amount of pussy jumping you actual do, maybe it's time you settled down too, what about Freyja she's a fierce warrior and your second in command she would make a perfect delta female and would keep you in check" he looked at his brother and smiled.

"well I can tell you several things wrong with that statement Ti, the first and the biggest point being Freyja is more of a pussy jumper than I, my conquests pale in comparison to that woman's and second she's like a sister to me and to you, so that sick little idea of yours can be shoved dear brother" Hunter laughed when he said the last part and winked at his brother.

Just as they were walking through the village towards the pack house Freyja came bolting up beside them, her eyes wide, her nose up in the air "MATE, MATE I CAN SMELL MATE" both boys looked at each other in astonishment, especially Hunter.

"well go get your mate then solider" ordered Titan and before Hunter could protest she was off, the brothers looked at each other and shook their heads, they heard a crash and a gasp, "well I think she's found her mate" Hunter said looking annoyed whilst gritting his teeth, how dare she leave him, his partner in crime, his wing woman.

A smell hit his nose it was very faint but it made his wolf jump in the air, it smelt of pears and chocolate his fave, he shook his head "oh you have got to be kidding me, god fucking damn it all to HELL...." His eye went black and his fists clenched.

"Hunter what's up bro?" Titan looked at his brother with confusion

"MATE" was all that Hunter had to say before his brother burst out laughing "well well well baba brother, this is going to be interesting" he wiggled his eye brows at his younger brother.

Hunter wanted to punch him right in his smug face, they came up to the pack house and the Alpha was outside waiting for them, they both embraced him.

"boys it's so good to see you, we are having a party tomorrow night to celebrate your return and also to introduce three new members, well two are our guests for however long they choose to stay and the other is Emily, she was the girl that was taken from our borders a couple of years ago"

"I remember that, how did she return?" asked Titan

"she was rescued by the two girls, Natasha, who likes to be called Tash and Jade who likes to be called Blue" he looked at the boys and smiled.

"Blue what type of name is that?" laughed Hunter

Titan glared at his brother "shush don't be so rude" hissed Titan

The brothers glared at each other, the Alpha cleared his throat "well let's get you settled I know Hilda is dying to see you two" he winked at Hunter who just rolled his eyes and all the men laughed as they walked inside the pack house.

As the boys where navigating the immense corridors and stairs Titan suddenly stopped in front of a door as did Hunter, they both looked at each other, a smell hit Titans nose it was intense and strong it smelt of lavender, he looked at the door "MATE" he said. Hunters eyes nearly popped out of his head.

"do you mean you can smell your mate in there?" asked Hunter suddenly feeling extremely nauseous

"yes, my mate is in there, why?" he couldn't be dealing with his brothers' attitude right now, he has been looking for his mate for so long that he didn't think he would ever find her, his wolf was doing summersaults.

"because mines in their too" Hunter looked at his brother who in a split second threw his brother up against the wall "MINE" Titan snarled at his brother, Hunter held his hands up "brother please we don't know who is in their maybe we should just knock and see rather than losing it?"

Titan let go and walked towards the door he knocked on it and when there was no answer, he turned the handle "mmmm its unlocked well that's not safe is it" he looked at his brother with a raised eye brow.

Hunter smiled "yes brother I think it is our duty to check if all is well" he winked

They both opened the door and inhaled deeply, the smell of their mates were very strong, they both walked in Titan followed the smell to one room and Hunter to another room, they both looked at each other "ahhhhhhhhhh so its two different people" Titan sighed he really didn't want to have to fight for the same person with his brother. Hunter looked relieved too.

A knock at the door brought them out of their thoughts, they spun round only to see Hilda standing in the doorway, she narrowed her eyes at the boys.

"WHAT YOU TWO DO IN HERE, THESE ARE GIRLS BEDROOM.....GET OUT" she swiped at the boys they ducked and dived and bolted out of the door and down the corridor towards their rooms, funnily there mates weren't too far away from them, "well that's convenient isn't it brother" Titan grinned at Hunter "yes brother very convenient" Hunter winked at Titan.

"well me thinks tomorrow night is going to be more interesting than we thought brother" Hunter smiled and winked at Titan who just rolled his eyes.
