Chapter 29

Blue rushed out of the packhouse, she threw open the door and ran around the back towards the training ground and the forest beyond that, tears were streaming down her face, her eyes were blurred as she ran straight into the forest.

Hunter had gone for a run to try and get what happened in the canteen with Blue out of his head, he was messed up and Max wasn't helping. He couldn't get the image of Blue straddling him on the table out of his head, god she looked hot, he shook his head as he tried to clear it.

"I'm not letting her get to me" he shook his head again, he suddenly stopped as he saw Blue, she was running across the training ground and she was crying, "what the hell..." he then saw Jason running after her, he growled and ran after Jason, he was on him in 5 seconds.

Hunter stood in front of Jason and growled deeply, Jason stopped wide eyed "you need to let me pass Hunter, I need to go to Blue, she's upset, now let me pass" he tried to sound as non-threatening as possible, but he needed to go to Blue.

"what's wrong with her why is she upset.." he stepped forward

"FOR GOD SAKE HUNTER SHE NEEDS SOMEONE RIGHT NOW, EITHER MAN UP AND GO AFTER HER OR LET ME, EITHER WAY SOMEONE NEEDS TO GO TO HER NOW..." Jason shouted and growled loudly at Hunter who just looked at Jason nodded, turned on his heels and ran after her, leaving Jason shocked with his mouth wide open, he never expected Hunter to go after her.

Hunter ran after Blue, she had a head start, but he let Max out as he would be able to find her faster, he took his clothes off and closed his eyes to let Max through, he heard the familiar sound of bones cracking and then when he opened his eyes again he looked down and saw pure grey paws, he was a pure grey wolf, much larger than a normal wolf he looked bear like with his thick grey fur and huge shoulders, he lifted his nose to the air and tried to pick up Blues scent, "got it" hummed Max and off hey flew, rushing through the trees at speed, suddenly he slowed "what is it Max" Hunter asked.

"Mate" Max whispered. He came to a clearing, there was a crystal clear pool in the middle of the clearing with a cascading waterfall, Hunter came here sometimes to clear his head, it was calming, no wonder Blue came here, he looked around and there she was sat on a rock her knees up to her chest, tears streaming down her cheeks, he turned back into human form and found a pair of shorts behind a tree. This was nothing unusual, his pack dotted clothes about the forest, just in case they were needed.

He stepped forward into the clearing, he neared Blue, she looked up and stood, "no please not you, please not you.." she whispered as she hung her head.

"Blue tell me what's wrong" Hunter said as softly as he could, he held up his hands as he walked slowly towards her, he didn't want her to run, as it would get his wolf very excited and Max excited wasn't a good thing at the moment, they needed to be subtle and Max and subtlety didn't mix.

Max huffed, "I could be subtle if I wanted to be"

"please Blue talk to me.....this isn't like you...what's happened...whose made you upset...Blue please talk to me" Hunter was pleading with her now.

Blue looked up "I'm leaving tomorrow Hunter"

Hunter felt a pang in his heart, "fuck it" he quickly walked up to Blue and wrapped his arms around her and pulled her to him, he rested his head on the top of hers, god she smelled amazing, he couldn't get enough of that smell.

He sighed as he held her tighter "Hunter" Blue whispered

"yes little one" Hunter whispered back.

"I can't breathe can you release me a bit please" he eased off her a bit, she looked up at him, he wiped the tears away from her eyes with his fingers, he then stroked her cheek and rested his hand on her neck.

"explain why you are so upset that you are leaving" he softly said.

Blue took a deep breath "I thought I would have more time.."

"for what?" Hunter asked with a raised eyebrow

"with you, I thought I would have more time with you", she sighed and placed her hand on his cheek "I love you Hunter more than I thought I would and you......you rejected me..."

"Please don't remind me little one, I'm sorry, I'm sorry for doing that to you" Hunter looked into Blue's eyes, he had been ashamed of what he had done, but he was too stubborn to apologise.

"Hunter it's ok, you don't have to apologise, but I would like to know why you hate witches so much and why you would only focus on that rather than trust in me, in your mate"

Hunter sighed "it's too long and painful of a story to tell at this point, just know I don't think like that anymore, I know you love me Blue and to be honest.......ermmmmmm" Hunter stuttered, he had never said this to a girl before, but Blue was different she was his mate, the other half of his soul, she was made for him and only him.

Hunter steadied his breath "I love you my little one, you are mine and always will be..." he stopped and looked at Blue who had her mouth wide open.

"WOW, well I didn't expect that, I have to be honest, I was told to reject you, as there was no way that you would mate with me and well.....because we are leaving tomorrow it was thought that, that would be the best course of action as we would die without each other" she huffed and shrugged her shoulders.

Hunter looked down at his little mate "and what now, do you still want to reject me"

Blue looked Hunter square in the eyes "no and I never want to"

He leaned down and pecked her lips as he pulled away she grabbed the back of his head and pulled him down again, their lips met and this time Hunter wasn't fighting her to get away, they both melted into each other, he moaned and she moaned.

Blue didn't want this to end, she wanted to stay like this forever, they both pulled apart and Hunter started trailing kisses down her neck, he grazed her neck with his teeth, she moaned loudly.

"Yes Hunter..." Blue moaned

Hunter chuckled, "what do you want me to do my little one" his voice husky it made Blue shiver and grow wet "anything.....everything" Blue breathed heavily.

"be specific little one" Hunter needed her to say it.

"Mark me my mate.." before she could say anything else he bit down into her soft skin.

"MINE...." Hunter growled.
