Chapter4:Cake

Me":hello?"
Gon: "HEY Y/N"
Me:"yesss my precious gon?" I said chuckling
Gon:"Are you still here,yk?
Me: "yes, yes I am"
Gon: "good, I appreciate you staying for us"
Me: "anything for you two"
When I was going to ask a question to gonI heard a familiar voice in the back, Killua obviously. He was asking gon who he was talking to. When gon said my name I heard rustling in the back
Killua: hey y/n hey hey hey hey
Me:*sigh* hello killua
As I said that I saw illumi turn his head quickly towards me giving me the shivers.
Killua: So how's the party?
Me: It would've been great if these two creeps would stop bumping into me, you won't believe me but they don't know what a game or controller is, I literally had to explain it to them what it was, I wish I wouldn't have said anything because it looks like all they wanna do is ask me more questions"
Killua: tell me where you are an-?
Me:AHT! I came here with you two so you both could have fun,not follow me around like my guards. Don't worry about me I'm okay, I love you both,now, go.have.fun

I clicked the end button putting my phone back into my purse, when I looked up I saw illumi and hisoka staring at me but illumis looked like they were shooting me a death stare. Hisokas looked like they were filled with curiosity,like wanting to know something eagerly. Before I could say something I saw the same maid come out with the tray of our food, she placed the plates in front of us one by one, "call me if you need anything dessert will be ready in 30 minutes my masters" she once again bowed in front of us, walking to the back. I picked my fork up and started eating while hisoka and illumi did the same, illumis gaze never left me once, it was like he had a deep hatred for me or whatever. But oh well not my problem.

After eating and having our plates collected, a different maid came and placed 4 pieces of confetti cake in front of us while the 4th one sat in the middle. The maid turned and looked at Illumi smiling. "This cake was specifically made for you and your friends" I rolled my eyes at the word "friends". "Your mother wanted to make sure it was at least good enough to make up for her not being here, please enjoy my masters" she said bowing and leaving as well. I picked up the fork and took a piece putting it in my mouth. I widened my eyes at the taste of the cake, it was really good and had the perfect soft chewy feeling to it, I took more and more pieces of the cake, until it was all gone. I placed my fork down seeing that hisoka and illumi were done as well.

I leaned back into the chair thinking about how this cake was reserved ONLY for illumi and his "friends". Meaning nobody else could have this delicious treat but him and his..mm "frienNnNnDs". I thought about how Gon and Killua would've enjoyed this,but they weren't here .So maybe I could take this last piece and bring it to them to enjoy, I mean it was slightly big so I know they could split it. I reached my hand for the cake grabbing the plate but stopped when I saw illumi's hand grabbing onto it as well. I glared at illumi while he did the same to me.
