"He would send you of all people to come get me". "Hisoka said we needed to bond, either way I'm not going to waste my time, I'm an assassin not somebody's friend". I sighed heavily turning my head towards the window. I may not like the guy at all and have a big disliking towards him,but was being an assassin all he could really think about?I don't know why but it made me feel kind of uncomfortable or just sad, it was like he didn't know what having real emotions was like or other stuff a "normal" human should feel. I glanced at him from the corner of my eye, looking at his face to see if he would notice, I stared for a while but soon enough gave up looking back at the view outside. "Why were you staring at me".
"you noticed,well seems you weren't kidding about being an assassin". "Do not underestimate me, I can kill you without a trace". I turned my head towards him with a straight face. "You and your assassin behavior is honestly annoying illumi, it's the same thing again and again, do you ever run your mouth about anything but being an assassin,AHT! and don't say family business or killua cause all that revolves around being an assassin". I waited for an answer but didn't receive one. "I thought so, I mean what did I expect, your head is stuck on one thing repeating again and again", I rested my head against the window now. "Illumi do you know what love is". "If you do not like me, why do you try to make small talk with me, you're more confusing than hisoka". "I don't know illumi I just feel the need to know exactly what's stopping you from feeling emotions, I just feel as if...you don't deserve this, even if I don't like you".
"What's my business is my business, what's your business is yours, stay out of my way, this is a warning". He said coldly, eyes still on the road. "Yea..okay". After a few minutes of driving he parked in front of an old broken down building, I looked at my phone to see if it was the right location, which it was. I got out of the car closing the door and walking in front of the building, as I heard illumi drive off,I slowly entered the building, it was kinda dark but some of the light from the moon made its way in lighting up the path for me, as I walked in some more I heard voices getting louder as I got closer. "LET US GO,I'VE TOLD YOU WE DON'T KNOW THE CHAIN USER!". I knew that voice, which was the one and only gon himself. I quickly ran in the room and saw gon being held down by some guy with short black hair.
"Gon?" He looked at me as he was struggling to get out of the hold from the guy with a black mask. "Y/N YOU'VE GOTTA GET OUT OF HE-". The guy behind gon had pulled on his arm a little. "You.know.them?". I looked over at the man and raised an eyebrow at him, "your voice sounds familiar, wtf". He glared back at me being silent for a moment until a lightbulb went off on both of our heads. "You're that annoying stranger with the attitude from earlier". We said simultaneously. I rolled my eyes at him while he clicked his tongue at me. "Yea yea anyways I came here to get him and him" I pointed At gon and killua. "Y/N!" Killua tried running over to me but was stopped by hisoka, who was now holding a card up to his neck. "Move and I'll cut you".
I can't be cocky or have an attitude with these people, there were too many of them, and I knew they could kill me in just a second. "Can we just calm down for a sec? I didn't come here to start trouble. I just want to take These two home and give them the consequences they deserve" I said smiling. I heard the boys mumble under their breath. "You must be their mom I'm assuming? you look pretty young" The woman with short blonde hair and a purple suit said now pointing her gun at me, "I'm nowhere near being their mother, I'm just 18". I kept my hands by my side as a girl with pink hair and a tall guy that had no eyebrows walked next to me. "Do you know who the chain user is?" The woman with the gun said, still pointing it at me. "Honey the chain WHO? I ain't never heard of them before". She came close to me having her eyes directly on mine for a moment. "She's not lying, let her go". She now sighed in disappointment. The tall boy with no eyebrows grabbed my arm, "alright let's go".
I yanked my arm from his grip."Um hold on I told you I came here to get them, I'm not leaving without them". "That's to bad, the boss might be pleased for them to join us." He said. I looked at him and then turned my head looking at the rest of the team. "And exactly who are y'all". "We're the phantom troupe" a girl holding a weird looking vacuum said. "Names please, I'd like to know who I'm talking to". They all one by one introduced themselves, even Hisoka,but I just played along acting as if I didn't know him. "Well it was nice meeting some of you, but if you'll excuse us we have to go". "We.said.you.could.leave.not-". I took my gun out while covering my ear with my free hand and the other with my shoulder and shot off a loud ear bleeding bullet. Everyone had their hands now on their ears screaming in pain, I took the chance and grabbed the boys running out of the building, when I got out I saw a black familiar car pull up, leorio stuck his head out and told us to get in. When we got in, leorio drove off away from the building. I sighed in relief and looked at the boys who were now asleep.
Lucky for me my gun can hurt the ears but will put you to sleep which I liked, since I wanted to get on them when we get back at the hotel. "Y/N are you okay,are you hurt? do i need to bring any of you to the hospital?" Leorio said with worry on his face. I looked at my phone and saw it was 11:45 now."Mm not even in time". "Y/n what?, are you okay?". I looked at leorio, "leorio I don't care where you were or what you were doing, BUT..you will tell me why 1.these kids were in this area,and not just any area but the hideout of the PHANTOM TROUPE, 2. Why they walked in there alone,BY.THEM.SELVES. I told you specifically to do ONE THING just one thing, and that was to make sure they didn't get hurt, WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!" I clenched my fist tight,my blood was boiling,and I was shaking a little bit. "DO YOU UNDERSTAND THEY COULD'VE DIED BACK THERE"?Leorio kept his eyes on the road but seemed like he was irritated with guilt as well, "why does it matter to you so much". "Excuse me?" I said.
"Why do these two kids matter to you so much, your acting as if your their REAL mother, your only 18 y/n, damn, ever since the exams when you met them, you've been treating them like they're your children, WHICH THEY'RE NOT, and they'll never be, so stop acting as if you need to put them in check, if their real moms wanted you to babysit them,then they'd tell you". Leorio parked in front of the hotel and looked at me seriously, "all I'm saying is you're not their guardians, drop the act,just because what happened to you in the past doesn't mean others are struggling for the Desperate love you didn't get". I raised my fist and connected it with leorio's nose, making him now bleed, "DON'T EVER OPEN YOUR MOUTH TO DISRESPECT ME LIKE THAT, YOU DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT I WENT THROUGH".i quickly got out of the car and put the boys on my shoulders,slamming the car door.
As I got up to the room I opened the door and layed the boys on the couch putting a blanket over them, I now looked at them caressing their cheeks softly,not to wake them. I sighed a little sadly and looked at them. "I'm not trying to get in your way,I'm just making sure you got what I never did even if I'm not your guardian." I whispered. I got up and put the food in the fridge,making sure everything was neat. After moving around i made my way to the room, I closed the door and started changing into my pajamas, when I was done I got into bed and closed my eyes,but immediately opened them when I heard the ring of my phone go off, the caller was unknown,and nobody called me so I knew who it was already.
Me: why are you calling 12 in the morning Hisoka♥️:a thank you would've been nice Me:you still threatened to harm killua Hisoka♥️: I wouldn't have harmed him in a way,it was just to keep the act going, plus illumi would drive me under the road,and I'm not ready to kill him Me:I-okay well thank you,would've been nice if you told me you were part of the phantom troupe Hisoka♥️:oh I'm not,like I said, it's just an act Me:but wouldn't you have to get the tattoo to confirm your one of them? Hisoka♥️ there are many ways bungee gum can come in handy Me:oh wow a clown with tricks up his sleeve,congrats Hisoka♥️:I should congratulate you for escaping the troupe themselves,and then leaving with their prized possessions... MmMmMm gon and killua themselves Me:ew stop moaning in the phone this isn't one of those calls weirdo Hisoka♥️: your little dangerous stunt there kind of gets me aroused, I don't know if I want to break you or kill you, MmMmmmMmmMMMmmm uh Me:...yea so imma just head out,uhh don't call this number again and goodbye I hung up the phone before he could say something and went straight to sleep,finally.
