You've lived your life with two kids by your side only for two strange men to come and spice it up as they barge into your past secrets and build weird connections to you.. (if you tell me to update the book my updates might be a lil faster:/)
My mouth was being covered now but I still squirmed in pain, "be quiet", she said aggressively. I wondered how she would feel if she was handcuffed to a bed with alcohol in her eye. "Something felt off about your two, I had a feeling it was a joke to trick me".
"Illumi...your as dumb as your father, you couldn't fool me like you thought you could" she said in a loud voice. I thought to myself how pretending to be together as a toxic relationship would have worked since we both don't like each other, but seeing as it didn't...on the bright side at least we have her where we want her.
"You made a big mistake...you took this poor, innocent girl who probably has a good life and people who love her at home, got her involved in this mission Chrollo sent YOU to do, failed horribly and now she's going to die...she's going to die handcuffed to a bed, in a lovers club tsk tsk tsk, such pity I lack for this girl right now".
I felt a slight pinch from something grazing against my skin. "I can probably slit her throat slowly". I now felt something sharp against my stomach, "Mabye cut her stomach open?". There was nothing but silence filling the room. "You'd love to see that wouldn't you? Fucking freak". I wondered why Illumi just didn't kill her right here right now at this moment.
I wondered what he was doing. Seeing as how much danger I'm in, defenseless and with no weapon, it made my stomach turn in a bad way, but I had to keep it together, this isn't something new to me, I've delt with worse.
"Show yourself Illumi, you've already lost! There's no point in trying to hide! It's over for you and soon it'll be over for your broke and jobless insect troup". The room went silent, it was like Illumi wasn't even there. I felt my face being grabbed aggressively. "I think your little "partner". Ran off without you". "Run off from a mission that was given to him by his boss? Yeah sure.."
I heard her laughing as if I told the funniest joke in the world. "Omg! Please please PLEASE don't tell me you have faith in him!". I didn't say anything. "Wow, he's probably got you thinking he was going to pop up and save you....hmm let me guess, you were shown a map of the club, told to have an argument to make me think I have a shot with you, lure me into THIS room, and play around so Illumi could have a shot at killing me, right?".
I didn't give a response since it was all true. "Tsk tsk tsk, I'm right". "Okay so your right, you knew the plan from beginning to end, so what? That didn't ruin the plan, he's probably waiting for the ri-".i felt her hand cover my mouth. I now heard a sigh from her. "You're a dunce". I felt the weight of her body lift up from my hips. I heard movements such as a dresser opening and other things.
I then felt the side of the bed get heavier, I guess she was sitting down next to me. I suddenly felt water hit my face making me panic at bit, but soon my face was covered and wiped with a towel. I realize this made some of the burning go away. I slowly opened my eyes now looking at her.
"Listen, illumi is no one to be trusted, you have friends, family, Maybe people who love you deeply. If they saw you like this, how do you think their faces would look right now, do you think they would be happy seeing you dolled up, in a beautiful dress and handcuffed in a room like this? No reply.
She sighed. "You shouldn't be here...Illumi told you how this plan of his would work. But honestly he could've sat there and spat lies to you". "What do you mean?" I said confused.
"Come on! It's Illumi, he comes from the Zoldyck family, his brother ran away to wherever he is now, but why do you think that? SIMPLE Illumi is cold, manipulative, and only does what needs to be done for the Zoldyck family, who knows! switched around how this mission was really supposed to go, used you to distract me and boom! Here we are".
Silence fell once again. "You look lost, but I'm confused as to why he would pick you, you must be special or so-" "no not really...I have something Illumi wants, and he won't stop until he gets it, we've had arguments about it and he takes it very seriously". "Well there we go, you have something Illumi wants, whatever it is I'm guessing it involves the Zoldyck family".
She placed her hand on her chin as if she was thinking now. "Let's see, he lured you in and gained your trust, YOUR trust. Do you see where it's gotten you? Now he's not showing up to save his helpless damsel in distress because he won the faith you have in him and used it to USE you!". She sighed.
"If you could get out of here right now, I'd tell you...don't expect anything good from Illumi, run as far away from him as you can, he's put you in this stupid position and if you hang around it'll only get worse". "If I could get out? Your not letting me go?". I said mixed with confusion and irritation. "No can do, you've entered in this room, had a plan to have me annihilated, on top of that, your with the enemy, I have to show Chrollo, along with his troop, not to try me, they try me, someone has to face the consequences".
She got up now making her way to the table. She took the Malibu now standing in front of the bed. "This is alcohol as you can see". She then held up a lighter. "This is the big deal right here, can you guess what I'm going to do?".
