Chapter11:I care to much

I woke up from my sleep, the light from the sun made its way thru the curtains, which I loved waking up to everyday. I got out of bed yawning and stretching, I walked to the room door and opened it, I saw the boys were still sleeping, which was good cause I knew exactly what I was gonna do. I made my way over to the little couch that sat right next to them, I sat down pulling my legs to my chest. I turned the Tv on and watched some cartoons as I waited. I heard a ding from my phone and looked to see hisoka had texted me. He told me good morning and called me little fruit. I cringed at the name and decided not to respond.

I've only known this man for a few days but it seems he has a little bit of human decency in him, JUST a little, I still don't like him,but I guess his company is nice when I'm bored, having A conversation with him could go on for hours, even if it is one topic, and somethings about him had surprised me. But on the other hand I had a feeling to keep a distance from him and keep my walls up most of the time,which I did with everybody, except a few people. Those 4 special few always found a way to catch me off guard. At first I didn't want to except it but eventually they did it, they broke my wall and here I am showing them the real side of me,and I'm always grateful for them. The thought of it made me smile a little.

I then heard the sound of shuffling and groans, I kept my eyes on my phone looking threw my gallery now. Gon and killua yawned and started stretching, but screamed and when they saw me sitting next to them. I looked at them calm but deep down the feeling I had didn't speak calm at all. Gon had got up and walked infront of me taking something out of his pocket. It was my card. "Hehe good morning y/n, sorry for not giving this to you earlier,hope your not upset". I raised my eyebrow at him with the same expression. "And at least we didn't lose it like you said not to". I sighed, "killua, come stand right here where gon is for me",I said pointing at gon.

Killua had a confused look on his face but obeyed and stood next to gon. I stood up and walked behind them. I softly pinched both of their ears in between my fingers making sure not to hurt them for now. "So where were you too last night" i said calmly. "We were out with leorio, getting breakfast, duh". Killua said. I tightened my finger on the back of his ear earning a painful yell from him. "Honest answers only and I won't break your ears". It was silent leaving me with no response. I let go of their ears and walked infront of them crossing my arms. "Mm sad, they had a choco robot waiting for you Killua". I could see the struggle in his face but it was obvious that he wasn't gonna spill, so I had to think of plan b.

"I was thinking about getting you that skateboard you've always wanted, but I'll just forget about it". His eyes widened, with a sweat drop running down his face. He was good but I knew another way to get them to say. "I'll just tell ging to keep going on hi-". Gon stepped up grabbing my hand quickly. "We decided to follow the phantom troupe and eventually got caught by them,but leorio didn't,and so they asked us did we know the chain user and say we should be apart of their team, please don't tell him to go". He was now on his knees begging. "Wait! So you three FOLLOWED and SPIED on them!?, are you crazy!?". They both looked down avoiding eye contact. "Do you know what could've happened if I didn't show up, YOU COULD'VE GOTTEN HURT OR EVEN KILLED!!".

"And I would've never seen you two ever....living with the burden of not being able to protect the two people who matter so much to me, gon and killua do you understand how dangerous that was? Do you two understand the position you put yourselves in?" They looked at me with guilt in their eyes, "yes" they both said. "I was worried something happened, I don't know what I would've done if something had happened to you two, I know I'm not your mothers, and I shouldn't be acting like this,but I care deeply for you two and just don't wanna see my babies get hurt,like I said I'd do anything for you too,including putting my own self in a deadly situation to get YOU two out of it, if I die oh well, but making sure you two are safe is my top prio-". They both grabbed me and started hugging me tight.

"Y/N WERE SORRY FOR BEING SO RECKLESS, IT WAS DANGEROUS AND DUMB OF US,PLEASE FORGIVE US". Gon had tears streaming down his cheeks,and so did killua,but I could tell he was trying to hide it. I wrapped my arms around the boys hugging them back. "I'm not your guardian and I know you don't have to take orders from me,but do know I love both of you and don't want anything to happen to you two, okay?" They let go nodding both of their heads at me, gon was wiping his eyes with his sleeve, while killu on the other hand had his head turned, hiding his tears, "and don't worry killua I was only kidding about what I said, so don't stay stuck up on it okay?".

He was silent but then opened his mouth to say something. "If your be serious about your word then..... Don't leave our sides,please, your the only person who keeps me in check from doing dumb things, if I lose you, I'd be like losing the only mother I have, and I can't afford for that to happen". I flicked his forehead and smiled, "I promise". "How do I know you won't go back on your word". I put my hand on my Chin and thought for a moment, until it hit me. "If I go back on my word, I want you to kill me". I said looking serious now, "and that's that's, nooow". I held out both of my pinkies infront of them,now smiling a little.

Honestly I wasn't afraid of death,like I said before I'd do anything for them,and that includes leorio and kurapika. They took their pinkies wrapping them around mines. "I pinky swear,on.my.life". The deal was sealed and I know killua an gon weren't gonna go back on their word either. I smiled at them, "now what do you want for breakfast?" The smiles on their faces grew wider.
