You've lived your life with two kids by your side only for two strange men to come and spice it up as they barge into your past secrets and build weird connections to you.. (if you tell me to update the book my updates might be a lil faster:/)
As me and Illumi walked more, we eventually came to an area that had a playground, I stopped and gasped excitedly. "What" Illumi said, turning his head to me. "It's a playground eeee omg Illumi come come". I held Illumis' hand tighter while pulling him over to the swings now. I grab the chains and sit on the seat. "Illumi sit on that one. I pointed to the one next to me. I looked at him overjoyed only for him to look at me with his signature assassin face. Well I mean that was his face period so.
"Why are you like this?" He said, stepping in front of me. I had to tilt my all the way up to look at him now. "What do you mean?" I said, obviously confused by his question. "Being around you is like being around a child, you do the most idiotic things without thinking, your 18 now if I'm correct, so why can't you-". I quickly stood up now being very close to Illumi. "What? Grow up? Illumi don't tell me anything about What I should and shouldn't do, this is MY life, not yours, I make the choices, just like you make the choices to kill people, so stay in your place understood?"
I sat back on the swing moving back and forward a little bit. I gripped the chains tightly in aggravation. I didint want illumis words to start repeating in my head but it was something that just threw me off. I shouldn't even be getting tripped up on somebody's words, especially HIS, he's such a cold person who is in no way educated about feelings. "Do you hate me?" I turned my head to Illumi now. "Uhh no?" "Do you love me?". He said. I looked at Illumi confused. "Illumi, do you even know what that means?". Illumi did not respond, letting me know he really didn't know the answer.
"It's a feeling you get that's all warm and fuzzy". Sounded really stupid. "Like heat and fur?". I blinked at Illumi a few times. "no, it's like you feel something you've never felt for this person, you uhh..LIKE them and tolerate them, you always want to be around that person because of the way they make you feel, your hearts beats fast sometimes when you think about them, it's like you want that person to yourself you want them to be your novio or novia you know?"
"Novio? Novia?". He said. "Boyfriend or girlfriend, I don't know if you go both ways or one, but oh well". I got up from the swings, now being interested in the monkey bars. I climbed the yellow bars slowly taking my time. "What are you doing?". Illumi got up making his way over to the monkey bars. I climbed up and sat at the top of the bars smiling. "I'm sitting on top of the world, but give me a second I want to try something. I hold onto the bars tightly as I move my body up, slowly placing my feet in a comfortable position to stand.
"Look Illumi i did it , I tried doing this when I was 7, I ended up falling and hitting the ground pretty hard". I looked down at Illumi. "Illumi catch". I jumped down, landing his illumis strong arms. "See you caught me 'this' time". I said referring to the time at the mall. I got out of illumis arms. "Do you wanna get ice cream?". I asked. "I don't know what that is". I slowly shook my head. "you poor thing, well you'll try today, and don't worry I know a good place, I took gon and your brother there before". I grabbed his hand walking in the direction of the shop.
We made it to the place. I push Illumi in the shop telling him to go in. "What can I get for you two?". The man said. "I'll have two cookie dough ice creams and a cinnamon roll to go please". The man smiled. "Of course, that'll be 7.63". I saw Illumi reaching into his pocket now. "No illumi, I'll pay, don't worry". I pulled my wallet out of my purse giving the man the change. After he took it he gave us our scoop of ice cream along with the cinnamon roll. "Thank you". I say as we walked out. I look at Illumi now. "try it" I say, smiling. Illumi licks the ice cream, then another lick. "Good isn't it". I say smirking. "It tastes like cookies". I pat his shoulder. "Yes, except it's cookie dough with ice cream.
Illumi pulled his phone out and started calling somebody. "Oo who ya calling". I asked, sounding like a kid. Aye it's not my fault, food just makes me a whole different person, and I love that. "Our ride, I'm ready to end the day". "Okayyyyy". After some minutes of waiting, the car finally pulled up. We both got in the car. As Illumi finished his ice cream he looked at me asking me. "What do I do with this". Talking about the cone. "Hehe bite it". I said, Illumi takes a bite now. " I liked that". He said "there are more flavors than that". I said leaning towards him. "What do you mean?". He said
"well there's chocolate, vanilla, Cotton candy, strawberry, rocky road, and more". "What do they taste like?". He said, crossing his leg. "I can't describe it, you'll just have to wait another time to get ice cream.
-at the hotel-
Me and Illumi walked out making our way to the room. As we walked in Hisoka came out with his hair wet, no shirt on and only some..I think sweats. Lookin good hisoka. "Hey Hisoka". I said walking up to him. "My precious gum ball," he said, looking at me. "I got you a cinnamon roll". "Thank you". He said, he licked his thumb and ran it across the edge of my mouth. "Ice cream on your face". He said. "Thank you". I don't know why but I was feeling a little soft for hisoka. I wrapped my arms around his FINE ASS torso, closing my eyes feeling the warmth of his body. "Hisoka". I heard him 'hm', "you are so fine".
