"Kurapika". I called out his name. He turned around now, but immediately dropped his device on the floor. His eyes in shock now, mouth open wide, hands to his side, and frozen like he was a statue. "Kurapika look, I gotchu the eyes that you've been looking for, I was shocked as well when I saw them in there, but more pissed to see them being bid like they belong to some rich people". "Y/n...". He said with a look of confusion.
"Yea i may have had to cut the man's throat open, but I don't care, I had to do what I had to do, so...". I extended my arms out in front of him with the eyes in my hand. "Here, take what rightfully belongs to you baby". He had a worried look on his face, it's like he couldn't believe what he was seeing. "Y/n, w-..I-". I turned my head towards the door and then back to kurapika. "I mean I'm pretty sure they're still going on with the auction in there, so these eyes should be the least of their problems, mm I hope so at least." I was acting so casual and calm, I mean I felt casual and calm, even after killing a man.
Most people would freak out or even break down at this point. "So here, I want you to be a little happy". Kurapika stayed in his place just staring at me with many emotions in his eyes, he looked like he wanted to say something but it wouldn't come out. "Well if you're not going to move then I'll just move my way over there". I took 2 steps towards kurapika, making sure he wasn't going to attack me. "Is this okay? I don't want you to hit me with any of your chains, hehe". I took 3 steps more towards him. No reaction from him, no movement, not even a single sound. "I'm almost there, kurapika, if you're gonna attack, do it now".
After taking 3 more steps to him, I was now standing Infront of him, I made sure there was a little bit of space. I put the eyes in front of him. "If you don't take it, you'll hurt my feelings". I gently pushed the item on kurapikas chest. He wrapped his arms around them. He looked down at them and then back to me. "See now w-", I stopped my sentence looking at tears in kurapika's eyes. "Why". He said, the tears slowly fell from his eyes. I used my clean hand and wiped it from his face. "Like I said before, I'd do anything for you guys, and that includes getting my hands dirty".
"You could've been killed!! Were you not thinking when doing something so childish and selfish like that?! These aren't just any normal people, these people could get you murdered right here and right now!!". I looked at kurapika, his eyes were now a deep scarlet red, his body was a little shaky along with his voice too. I stepped away from kurapika and walked past him, but not because I was afraid of what he could do, I just wanted him to calm down. "So you're just going to walk out like that?".
I stop in my tracks and turned around facing kurapika, but from a distance. "You're not even worried what's gonna happen to you?! You killed a man! Are you not afraid that I could call security and get you arrested?! You're just going to walk out like nothing happened?!!!!". I smiled at him. "Anything to help you get where you need to, love ya". I turned my body around and walked away from him. I made my way to the entrance of the place. I texted leorio telling him I didn't need the ride. He texted back but I didn't bother looking. I decided to catch a taxi, yes it was dumb but oh well.
I wanted to avoid many questions coming my way. As I called the taxi I hopped in, "where to missy?" As the man said. "To the hotels please". "Ight 13 bucks it'll be". I reached in my purse and grabbed the money giving it to him. "You don't mind if I smoke a cigarette in here do ya?" He said. I shook my head as he cracked the window a little. "So what's the whole deal? Killed ya ex boyfriend or sumth'n?" I looked up at him shaking my head. "I'm a doctor, and one of the bidders got hurt badly". I saw him roll his eyes at me in the mirror.
"Come on kid, ya gotta do better than that, you didn't even fool a sucker like me". I scratched the back of my neck. "I sorta maybe sliced a guys neck open to get the kurta eyes". I looked down playing with my fingers. I heard laughter coming from the man. "Oh shoot kid, I'll give it to you, ya got ballz". I looked at him confused. "What? Thought I was gonna freak out? Listen kid, I've seen worse in my days, this is just a cat scratch". He took a puff from his cigarette letting the smoke out.
"Oh wow, must've seen the end of the world". I said shyly laughing. "I guess that's what you could call it, so what's ya name kid?". I hesitated a little. "Um y/n, how about you?". "The names Ricky, remember it". I nodded my head slowly at him. "So ya got these eyes for ya little boyfriend or something, or ya just thieving around?". He took one last puff to his cigarette and put it out. "No no, he's just a friend of mine, his family was slaughtered for their eyes and he's the last survivor seeking the eyes and revenge". Ricky nodded his head at me. "I've never heard of a person kill somebody for a friend, but hey that's just the side of people I've never seen so".
"Um Mister Ricky sir". "Just call me Ricky". "Okay, Ricky, well, are you gonna, you know?". "Kid, ya secret safe with me". He put his index finger and thumb together sliding it across his lips like he was zipping his mouth shut. After 5 min of driving we arrived at our destination. "Alright listen kid, I like ya, not like that, don't get the wrong idea, Please". He said rolling his eyes and shaking his head a little. "You seem strong, so here take my number". He dug out a white card from his suit pocket and handed it to me, I took it placing it into my purse. "If you ever need a ride, call me". I looked at him sideways. "Why?". I said
"Mm why not, ya seem interesting kid, not like I got anything better to do, other then be a taxi driver, now. You get in there and be safe". I smiled and thanked him. I got out of the car closing the door. I walked into the hotel, but was immediately stopped by the same hotel clerk from before, "omg ma'am a-are you okay?!. I looked at him and nodded. "Yes I'm okay, nothing big, I just wanna wash up and go to bed, it's been a long day today, sooo if you wouldn't mind, I'd like to get to my room". I walked to the elevator pressing the button. I got on the floor making my way to the door, I unlocked it and walked in. "Hey kill, what's this?"
