You've lived your life with two kids by your side only for two strange men to come and spice it up as they barge into your past secrets and build weird connections to you.. (if you tell me to update the book my updates might be a lil faster:/)
Illumis eyes averted over to me slowly, he then averted them forward and blinked. Illumis body felt stiff and tense, like he was a brick wall, I swear this man can't do the normal basic things. I then grabbed the remote and turned on the tv. "What's this?". Illumi asks, "a show perhaps". Hisoka says. I side eye both of them. Kinda took me back to the day when they asked me what a controller and a game was, they sounded so stupid and were so irritating that day, I swear I couldn't stand them. Still can't this day. The more the thought came to me the more it was funny to me, which made me slip a tad bit of a giggle.
"Something funny?" Hisoka says. I shake my head, "just remembering the time at the party when you two asked me about a controller and a game, so embarrassing".Hisoka then laughs a bit. I got up from my seat and made my way to the bathroom. I just wanted to get away from Illumi just for a few seconds. I thought being able to do this would be easy, but seeing as Illumi has never in his life been with somebody it could be a possible struggle for me and him.
I was going to open the door but I stopped. It felt like there was a presence right behind me. I turned my head quickly and got scared, seeing Illumi just standing there just looking at me with his eyes. I put a hand over my chest as if I almost had a heart attack. "Illumi what are you doing here, why are you following me to the bathroom?!". "Hisoka said we're supposed to always be together" I tilt my head a bit at illumi's response. "Sure?? But I have to use the restroom so just..stay right there until I get out". I went into the bathroom, locking and closing the door. I rest my arms on the counter and looked at myself closely
"I'm so tired of this shit". I turned the water on and splashed some on my face. This whole having to practice 4 days needs to go by quickly. I dried my face off and opened the door. Illumi was standing there looking at me. Illumi pulled me close and kissed me, he then grabbed my hand and led me to the couch, we both sat down and proceeded to watch whatever was on the TV.
"You two still don't look like the real deal" Hisoka said blankly. I raise both me and illumis intertwined fingers up and show Hisoka. "Reaaaallly?? I mean come on hisoka, this is new to us there's no way we're gonna get this right on the first try". I looked over at Illumi. "And you surely don't wanna be here just like me". Hisoka then stands up from the couch. "Get up". Me and Illumi both stand up still hands together. Hisoka takes our hands and attaches I guess his 'bungee gum', to both of our wrists. (Y'all bet not say it)
"I want you two to treat my bungee gum as if it's your life". Hisoka stopped his sentence and chuckled a bit. "I'll set a timer for 7 minutes, in that time if I cut or break this gum". He now moved his eyes slowly at me and Illumi. "I'll kill you both". "Excuse me?!". I said. "This will help you two in the first part of our process". "How does us-". "You". Illumi said, cutting me off. "How does me being killed because you cut the string help us in the process?!". Hisoka raised his hand and showed his sharp nails. "Quiet now sweetheart". He swings his hand at me, cutting my cheek. "Damn". Hisoka then tries swinging his hand at the gum, but I push Illumi over causing me to tumble on top of him.
We quickly got up but soon felt a strong aura coming from Hisoka. I see Hisoka take a card and throw it out, but Illumi throws a needle causing it to pierce the card and make it fall. Hisoka grins once again, which will never leave that beautiful face of his. Taking two more cards and dashing towards us. I ran over to the kitchen with Illumi. But the more I move around the more I realize that Hisoka could easily win this, due to the build of the hotel room, along with his speed, it's easier for him then us.
I whisper over to Illumi. "I hope you know Hisoka has a better advantage at cutting the gum. If we stay in here, we'll-". "You" Illumi says once again. "I'll die, damn, shut up, let's just get out of this room". Illumi takes 2 needles, throwing them at Hisokas shoulders. We both made a run for it out the room. "What was that for?". I say as we make our way to the emergency exit. We could've taken the elevator but then I'd be over since you have to wait a tad bit for the elevator to open. "A distraction at most". I opened the door. We then make our way down the stairs but soon see cards piercing the walls. I look up seeing Hisoka following behind us with cards between his fingers.
One of the cards had almost hit the back of my neck. "WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO CUT? THE GUM OR ME?!". Illumi had picked me up in a bridal style. "Hold on". He then jumped over the railing falling from many floors , but landing safely with no broken bone. After he put me down we ran out into the main entrance of the hotel, there was much room there, so if anything were to happen then we'd have that advantage.
"What do we do?". I said "I don't know". Hisoka came out and walked towards us. "Hey~". Hisoka runs towards us, I see him moving a fist towards me. 'Tf is up with this dude, tryna hit me?'. I grab his fist and kick his stomach. His face is in shock for a bit but soon returns to a seductive look. "You're very good, so very good y/n, maybe I'll make you mine after this whole mission ends". Hisoka had managed to grab my hair. "How bout dinner?". "Yea sure". I said sarcastically. I looked over to Illumi and pointed at my purse. He caught on quickly and reached in grabbing my gun. I nodded my head at him, signaling him to shoot hisoka. "You'll-".
