Chapter 43: Date pt.1

We both came out of the room. "I'm staying back, I expect you both to know what you're doing, since you two have already made up. Please remember this is for the mission, so make sure you have fun, but not too much fun", Hisoka then walked over to me now cupping my face with both of his hands, "I'd like to be in first place". I pushed hisoka a bit and rolled my eyes. "Too bad you'll never have a spot". I grabbed my purse making sure everything was in there, gladly everything was. I grabbed illumis hand and went out of the hotel into the car.

-skip the car ride-

After a bit of silence etc etc, we eventually pulled up to a big blue and white building, it had golden gates in the front with a love locket in the middle, along with a key code on the side, not to mention, but the grass was nicely cut. Me and Illumi had got out of the car and as we did I heard a light sigh from Illumi. "What's wrong?" I said. "This place is for couples". "Wooow okay nice so what about it?". "It's a couples dream world where they play games,get touchy, drunk, along with whatever intimate things exist, not to mention it's a match making place"

"How do you know about all this?" Illumi looks at me and slowly shakes his head. "Hisoka does his typical thing of telling the employees that I've gotten my heart broken by a girl named Sammy, so now I'm a cold hearted being who's turned to an assassin to forget about 'her' and that I need somebody who will bring that 'spark' back".

I slowly nod my head to Illumi. "Wow what a story, let's clap that bullshit of a lie up". I slowly applauded to Hisokas 'story'. "It never works out, the people they put me with try their best to pry into my life, along with family business as if they know me, and I don't like that. They ask too many questions and get touchy. Not to mention the loud music and people I can't stand".

I laughed a bit at him. "Wow,Illumi doesn't like getting touched? And I was just holding your hand before we had left. Anyways if you don't wanna do this that's fine, I'm not a romantic cheesy person". "Oh" is all he had said. I leaned against the car thinking what should happen next, I don't feel like ending it like this, and if I did I would be bored the rest of the day, hmmmmm. "Since I don't want this to end, tell me what kind of things would you prefer except this?". "Anything simple and quiet, nothing to over the top, or flashy that gives me a headache"

"Mmm okay, get in the car". " where are we going?". I put my finger in front of Illumi. "Just get in". We both hopped in the car, I reached over to the butler and whispered the location of the place in his ear.

-skip to date location-

"A library?" Illumi said, looking at me. "yes a quiet and elegant place, I like the library so why can't you?". I was actually a bit excited for this mm date, I've never been able to bring somebody to a place I like. Me and Illumi got out of the car, I grabbed his hand and walked into the place. "How may I help you two?" The desk clerk said, smiling at us. "Me and him would like to hang out in the library today". The desk clerk looked at our hands that were intertwined together. "You and your boyfriend?" "Uhh yeaaah" I said trying not to be awkward.

"well if you'd like since you're a couple, and the only ones here, you can use the upstairs library for free, Yes you do have to have a special reservation, but hey who cares plus I get paid extra for people who use it, so please enjoy". She winked and then smiled. "Thank you". I told the women. Me and Illumi were walking up the stairs but I decided to walk up a bit slow, I mean I've never used the upstairs library before, I'm really lucky this-. "Why did you hesitate to say I'm your boyfriend". I shrug. "Look, it's been a while since I've had a boyfriend, so I'm not used to saying.

"Me and my boyfriend". Me and Illumi reached the top of the library door, all I had to do was open it and bam I'm in. I opened the door only to be amused by what I saw. The room was big and there was a big glass window where you could see the whole world from down above. On the other side, farther into the room are plenty of bookshelves surrounding the room, there were also two big tables, and some bean bags, one of them laid on the wall, it was really big.

"Wooooooow", I let go of Illumis hand and ran over to the glass window looking at the little people and buildings down below "Hehe he dropped his corndog". I look and tell Illumi to come over to me. "Isn't it beautiful Lu?" Illumi nods his head but then looks at you confused. "What? Lu? Oh I don't know I gotta give nicknames". I grabbed Illumis' arm and walked over to the shelves. "I wonder if they have it?". I went searching on the shelves but I found it.

"YES!!". I jumped a bit in excitement. "Go ahead Illumi pick a book. Illumi looked through the shelves but eventually found something. He then walked over to the table while I jumped on the bean bag. It was soft and felt so relaxing, "what'd you get?". I asked Illumi. He showed me his book that was titled. "Weak immortals". "What about you?" He said. "fantastic Mr. Fox, it's my favorite book growing up, it's about a clever fox helping his family out when they get trapped in by these 3 hunters trying to kill them". "Very interesting".

I opened the book and started reading it
