Chapter 26 - Battle with Arfoire

(Y/N) POV:

Me and Vert went through the hall and reached the final room where the signal was coming from.

We then saw a giant statue right in the center of the room.

(Y/N): Think this is the thing causing the signal?

Green Heart: Most likely, the others haven't contact about anything in the other rooms so this must be it.

(Y/N): Then let's make our way up. Have a feeling the one behind this is at the top waiting for us.

Vert nodded and we made our way up. Of course there were guards in our way trying to stop us.

(Y/N): Sheesh... the numbers just keep growing.

Green Heart: We just need to keep pushing forward. We'll reach the top eventually.

That's when one knights was about to strike me from behind until... it got stabbed from behind itself from Neptune.

Purple Heart: Looks like we caught up in time.

(Y/N): *smirks* Indeed you have. *shoots monster about to attack from the side* Let's hope you still have some speed for combat.

Purple Heart: Count on it.

Noire and Blanc then appeared sometime during the fight as the 5 of us took down hordes in no time.

(Y/N): Nice to have the full group here. The person behind this better be ready to fight all 4 of the beautiful goddess at once.

I then started to move up ahead but Neptune caught up and took my hand.

Purple Heart: And a very strong handsome demon.

I smirked and the two of us walked up hand in hand as the others starred at us with jealousy.

We then reached the top floor of room and got a good look at the statue.

Green Heart: Take about the size of this thing...

White Heart: I wonder what purpose does it serve...

(Y/N): All I know is that the designers have bad taste.

That's when Arfoire appeared on top of the head and I pointed my gun at her.

Arfoire: Is it not beautiful?

(Y/N): I think we have a difference of opinion on that one.
