Just a Skyrim fanfic: Extended cut

Get this man a shield (Side)

(Leonidas is gliding around when he lands near a shrine to Peryite)

Kesh: Ah, a wanderer, yes? Have you come to commune with Peryite, task master and blighted lord?

Leonidas: May I commune with Peryite?

Kesh: Not everyone has the stomach required to entreat my lord, but Kesh likes you, my friend. There is a way Peryite may speak to us who will take him in. We'll need the incense

Leonidas: Ok. What will we need?

Kesh: A flawless ruby, a silver ingot, a deathbell, and some vampire dust

Leonidas: Here you go

Kesh: Good

(Kesh takes the items needed from Leonidas and makes the incense)

(Leonidas and Kesh both inhale the fumes of the incense)

Peryite: Breathe deep, mortal. I would have you hear me well, so let these vapors fill your lungs

Leonidas: What do you want from me?

Peryite: I have watched you for some time, you know. The decisions you've made intrigue me. And I wonder if you are a proper agent for a task of mine

Leonidas: What's the task?

Peryite: I will not stand for betrayal. I want you to go to Bthardamz and kill Orchendor in my name

Leonidas: Very well. I've heard your request. Release me

Peryite: So you have mortal. Go now. Kill Orchendor

Leonidas: Ok. This shouldn't take too long

(Leonidas then glides to bthardamz and heads inside a temple, where he finds barrel filled with incense, and lots of lit torches)

(He also finds a group called the afflicted within)

(Leonidas grabs a small bag of powder, sets it on fire with his magic, and throws it)

(The small bag of powder explodes, killing a group of afflicted)

(There is a sloped section of the temple heading downwards, so Leonidas freezes it with his ice shout)

Leonidas: FOH KRAH DIIN!

(Leonidas slides down while using his bow to kill a few afflicted with arrows)

(Leonidas finds a series of dwarven paths leading to different doors with a bunch of afflicted)

Leonidas: (Sigh) Here we go again

(Time skip brought to you by Leonidas powering through the afflicted with magic and his sword)

(Leonidas cleans as much afflicted blood off of his sword as he can before he heads into the temple's main chamber)

Orchendor: DIE!

(Orchendor tries to use lightning magic on Leonidas, but he dodges it with a jumping roll and throws a fire ball at him)

(Orchendor blocks the fireball with a magic ward, but with both of his hands putting up the ward, there was nothing to block Leonidas's sword from piercing his chest)

(Orchendor falls dowm, bleeds out, and dies)

(As soon as Leonidas exits the ruins and glides back to the shrine of Peryite, he tells Kesh about Orchendor's assassination)

Peryite: Well done, mortal. All things are in their order. And Orchendor roams the pits of oblivion. His betrayal will be punished. And your obedience is rewarded

Leonidas: What happens now?

Peryite: Go and seek your fate. I will be watching from afar. And perhaps we will meet again someday

Leonidas: Goodbye

Peryite: Embrace order and the hard truth. Goodbye. Kesh. Please, get this man a shield

Kesh: Here is your reward

(Kesh gives Leonidas a shield called the spell breaker)

(Leonidas absorbs the enchantment from the spell breaker and his armor becomes almost immune to magic)
