Maximus: Well, that doesn't make sense. How did we all get into the dawnguard if one of us is a vampire? How does that work?

Agmaer: I don't feel comfortable being surrounded by possible vampires!

Isran: Each one of you will be tested individually to see which one of you is a vampire. I will give you one chance to step forward

Leonidas: Me

Isran: What?

Leonidas: It's me. I'm a vampire

(Isran furrows his brows and clenches his fists, but he stops in a couple seconds)

Isran: Since you could have attacked me long before this, I'm just gonna assume this was a little accident on your part. And so, I'll give you a chance to get yourself cured

Leonidas: Wait, you need me as a vampire. Not just because of my powers, but you'll also need someone on the inside of Volkihar castle. That's where the vampires are all holed up

(Isran sighs)

Isran: I can't believe I'm doing this... Fine. Sorine, get working on some upgraded crossbow designs. Gunmar, there's a space in the dungeons for you to train up some trolls and armor them. In the meantime we're going to get to the bottom of why a vampire showed up looking for you, Leonidas

Leonidas: Wait, what?

Isran: Yes. A vampire. Showed up while you were gone. Lets go have a little chat with it, shall we?

(Leonidas and Isran head upstairs to see Serana)

Serana: You probably weren't expecting to see me again

Leonidas: What are you doing here?

Serana: I'd rather not be here either, but I needed to talk to you. It's important, so please just listen before your friend here loses his patience. It's... well, it's about me. And the elder scroll that was buried with me

Leonidas: What about you?

Serana: It all comes back to my father. I'm guessing you figured this part out already, but my father's not exactly a good person. Even by vampire standards. He wasn't always like that, though. There was... a turn. He stumbled onto this obscure prophecy and just kind of lost himself in it

Leonidas: What kind of prophecy?

Serana: It's pointless and vague, like all prophecies. The part he latched onto said that vampires would no longer need to fear the sun. That's what he's after. He wants to control the sun, have vampires control the world

Leonidas: You took a big risk coming here

Serana: I did. But something about you makes me think I can trust you. I hope I'm not wrong

Leonidas: No, you're right. All we have to do is convince the others that you're on our side

Serana: Well, lets do it then. I'm nothing if not persuasive

Isran: All right, you've heard what it has to say. Now tell me, is there any reason I shouldn't kill this bloodsucking fiend right now?

Leonidas: Yes. We're going to need her help

Isran: Why, because of that story about the prophecy? About some vampire trying to put the sun out? Do you actually believe any of that?

Leonidas: It's fine if you don't trust her. Just trust me
