Just a Skyrim fanfic: Extended cut

Liberating Skyrim

(This takes place while Leonidas does the beginning Winterhold College quests)

Tullius: The Thalmor have been setting up bases of operation here in Skyrim. Our job is to wipe them out. I will take half of the knights and clear one half of Skyrim, while Ulfric takes the other half and clears the other half. Your first objective is fort dunstad. Meet the other knights preparing for the attack, then join them in wiping out the Thalmor. Once you have prevailed, the remaining knights will garrison the fort. Are you up to the task?

Maximus: That fort is as good as ours

Tullius: Good. I knew I could count on you

(Maximus journeys to the outskirts of fort dunstad. He sees some knights alongside Lydia and Hadvar waiting for him)

Hadvar: Good to see you again, Maximus. How should we proceed?

Maximus: Lets not overcomplicate it. Lets get in there and hit them with everything we've got

Hadvar: A wise choice

Lydia: CHARGE!

(Maximus, Hadvar, Lydia, and the knights rush at the fort, alerting the Thalmor soldiers)

Thalmor Soldier: We're under attack! Archers!

Maximus: Shield formation!

(Everyone comes together and puts their shields together to protect them from the arrows)

(Maximus charges up a fireball and hits two Thalmor archers, burning them)

(Hadvar throws a small axe, hitting a Thalmor archer)

(The wave knights then makes it inside the fort and starts fighting the Thalmor soldiers)

(Hadvar takes the high ground and uses her bow to eliminate the rest of the archers. She then provides ranged support for the rest of the knights)

(Maximus, Hadvar, and the knights work together to kill what remains of the Thalmor soldiers inside the fort)

Hadvar: All clear! Maximus, report to General Tullius! We'll get this fort under control!

Maximus: Ok! See you soon, Hadvar!

(Maximus makes his way to the knights camp where Tullius is waiting for him)

Tullius: Taking the pale gives us another port in Dawnstar. That should make the Thalmor a bit more cautious on the waters. Our navy has ships at sea battling them as we speak. Battles are won by trained and disciplined men. But wars are won by talented and exceptional individuals

Maximus: What is the next objective?

Tullius: Make your way to our camp in the pale. We have a few surprises for the Thalmor lined up

Maximus: I look forward to it, General Tullius

Tullius: Report directly to Legate Rikke. May the divines guide you

(Maximus makes his way to a knight camp, where he meets up with Rikke)

Rikke: I need you to deliver some false orders to a Thalmor commander. The messenger was last seen in dawnstar. But first, we must get our hands on some of their orders to make the forgeries. That's where you come in. See if you can get those documents

Maximus: Consider it done

Rikke: Make us proud

(Maximus heads into dawnstar and goes to the inn, where he finds a high elf in Thalmor robes forcing the innkeeper to meet his demands)
