Just a Skyrim fanfic: Extended cut

High gate ruins (Side)

(Leonidas glides to the high gate ruins and heads inside, where he finds a woman standing there)

Leonidas: Who are you?

Anska: I'm Anska. Are you here to help?

Leonidas: That depends. What's your goal here?

Anska: I've traced Vokun's crypt to here. There is a scroll in here I'm looking for

Leonidas: Vokun? As in the dragon priest?

Anska: Yes. Can you help me find the scroll?

Leonidas: Alright. What kind of scroll are you looking for?

Anska: It's probably meaningless to you, but according to my family legend, it links our bloodline back to Ysgramor himself

Leonidas: I will help you, but on one condition

Anska: And what might that be?

Leonidas: I get Vokun's mask

Anska: Deal. And with the two of us, this should be easy

Leonidas: Lets not jinx it

(Leonidas and Anska head into the room ahead and find it with a bunch of draugr in it)

(Anska readies her fireball magic)

(Leonidas draws his sword)

(The draugr ready their weapons)

Leonidas: FUS RO DAH!

(Leonidas force shouts a group of draugr and slashes a few draugr with his sword)

(Anska starts fighting the draugr with her magic)

(With teamwork, Leonidas and Anska are able to slay all of the draugr in the room)

(Leonidas and Anska make their way through the halls of the high gate ruins and fight past any draugr that get in their ways. Leonidas disarms a few traps, Anska counters a few magic runes, and they both find a room with a puzzle and a trap door)

Anska: This looks like some kind of lever puzzle. We'll have to figure out the correct order to flip them in

Leonidas: Otherwise we're both dead. Go up there and try the one on the left first

Anska: What? How do you know?

Leonidas: Trust me

(Anska walks up to the second floor and pulls the left lever, then one of four fire pits light up)

Anska: You were right. What next?

Leonidas: I'll get the two levers here on my level

(Leonidas pulls the right and left levers down on the lower level)

Leonidas: Now you get the last one

(Anska pulls the last lever and opens the gate)

(When Leonidas and Anska head deeper into the high gate ruins, they find a throne room with a coffin inside)

Leonidas: That has to be it

Anska: Ready when you are

(Vokun rises from his tomb and puts a magic aura around himself)

(Leonidas fights Vokun head on with his blade, while Anska provides ranged support with her magic)

(It was a long and fierce battle, but in the end, two heads are better than one)

(Leonidas uses his sword to slash Vokun in the stomach, and Anska blasts Vokun with her magic)

(Leonidas takes Vokun's mask and absorbs some power from it. He also finds a scroll and gives it to Anska)

Anska: Thank you. And here's a little something for helping me out

(Anska gives Leonidas some gold, and he glides away to find the final dragon priest mask)
