Just a Skyrim fanfic: Extended cut

Dangerous knowledge

(Leonidas, Maximus, Serana, and Frea go to a place called the skaal village)

Frea: Father! I have returned! There is yet hope!

Storn: Frea! What news do you bring? Is there a way to free our people? Can you stop whatever's causing this?

Frea: No. But I know someone who can. He has confirmed that Miraak is indeed behind the suffering of our people

Storn: I feared that it would be so

Frea: But how is that even possible? After all this time...

Storn: I fear there is too much we do not yet know

Frea: Please, tell Storn what happened

Storn: So, you have seen some things, yes? My magic grows weak, and so does the barrier around our village. Time is short. Tell me what you know

Leonidas: Miraak is behind what's happening to your people

Storn: How do you know this?

Leonidas: I fought him. I read a book in his temple, and it led me straight to him in apocrypha

Storn: The legends speak of that place. Terrible battles fought at the temple. The dragons burning it to the ground in rage. They speak also of something worse than dragons buried within. Difficult to imagine, but if true... It means what I feared has come to pass. Miraak was never truly gone, and now has returned. If you could go to this place and fight him... Are you like Miraak? Are you dragonborn?

Leonidas: Yes. I am dragonborn

Storn: Then perhaps you are connected with him. The old tales say that he, too, was dragonborn

Leonidas: In a way, he is kind of like my blood brother. But why does it matter if I'm dragonborn?

Storn: I am unsure. It may mean that you could save us, or it may mean that you could bring about our destruction. But our time here is running out. The few of us free of control cannot protect ourselves for much longer. You must go to saering's watch. Learn there the word that Miraak learned long ago, and use that knowledge on the all maker stones. You may be able to break the hold on our people, and free them from control

Frea: See those beacons in the sky? They come from the all maker stones, where our people work against their will

(Leonidas glides to benkongerike and finds a word wall guarded by cultists)

(Maximus and Serana start heading towards an old east empire company stronghold called fort frostmoth)

Cultists: Should he get this far, eliminate Leonidas

(Leonidas glide kicks two cultists off the cliff and uses his assassin blades to take down the rest)

(A dragon flies overhead and roars)

Leonidas: JOOR ZAH FRUL!

(Leonidas uses his dragonrend shout to ground the dragon, kills it with his sword, and it's body starts burning up, but Miraak appears)

Leonidas: What the-?

Miraak: Not this time, Leonidas. This dragon's soul belongs to me. ZII LOS DII DU!

(Miraak abosrbs the dragon soul instead of Leonidas)

Miraak: One step closer to my return

(Miraak fades away)

Leonidas: Well, that's annoying. So I can't kill any dragons on Solstheim or Miraak will get more and more powerful

(Leonidas walks up to the word wall and learns a word of power, but the other two are missing. He also finds a black book and reads it, teaching him a secret called "bardic knowledge". He heads to one of the all maker stones and uses his new shout)
