Vekel: Give it up, Brynjolf. Those days are over

Brynjolf: I'm telling you, this one is different

Dirge: We've all heard that one before. Quit kidding yourself

Vekel: It's time to face the truth, old freind. You, Mercer, Vex, you're all part of a dying breed. Things are changing

Brynjolf: Dying breed, eh? Then what do you call that?

(Leonidas walks in)

Brynjolf: Color me impressed, lad. You managed to hit off that job without trouble, and you've got the appropriate attire

Leonidas: It was actually pretty easy

Brynjolf: Reliable AND headstrong? You're turning out to be quite the prize. Now that I've whetted your appetite with our little scheme at the market, how about handling a few deadbeats?

Leonidas: What did they do?

Brynjolf: They owe our organization some serious coin and decided not to pay. I want you to explain to them the error of their ways

Leonidas: Sounds good. Who are they?

Brynjolf: Keerava, Bersi, and Haelga. Do this right, and I can promise you a permanent place in our organization

Leonidas: How do you want me to handle it?

Brynjolf: Honestly, the debt is secondary here. What's more important is that you get the message across that we aren't to be ignored. A word of warning though, I don't want any of them dead. That's bad for business

Leonidas: Consider it done

Brynjolf: Good. If you need any intel on your marks, I'll be here. Now get going

Leonidas: Anything you can tell me about our deadbeats?

Brynjolf: Keerava has a soft spot for family. They live on a farm inside of Morrowind. Bersi's weaknes is his dwemer urn. And Haelga likes to worship Dibella

Leonidas: Noted. Thanks for your help

(Leonidas goes to the bee and the barb to settle Keerava's debt)

Leonidas: Keerava. I have a message from Brynjolf

Keerava: I've already told that buffoon I'm not paying you people a single coin!

Leonidas: Maybe you didn't hear me

(Leonidas cracks his fingers and ignites his fist with fire)

Leonidas: It wasn't a request

Keerava: Look around you. I'm barely keeping this rathole together. The war's seen to that

Leonidas: Maybe instead I should pay a little visit to that farm in Morrowind...

Keerava: How could you possibly know about-?! Fine! Here! Take it!

(Keerava gives Leonidas her debt)

Leonidas: Much appreciated. One bottle of mead please

(Leonidas hands Keerava back a few coins and drinks some mead before heading over to the pawned prawn to settle Bersi's debt)

Bersi: What can I do for you?

Leonidas: You can listen. I have a message from Brynjolf

Bersi: What? Oh. It's one of you people. So, Brynjolf doesn't even bother to show up himself anymore? What's the message?

Leonidas: Simple. If you don't pay up, bad things will start to happen

Bersi: Petty threats and fist waving aren't going to sway me. You people are all talk, and everyone knows it! Pay you to protect me? You can't even protect yourselves!

(Leonidas picks up the urn)

Leonidas: Pay up, or I break the urn

Bersi: No! I'll pay! Just put it down!

(Bersi gives Leonidas a bag of coins, and the urn gets returned to the shelf)

Leonidas: That wasn't so hard now, was it? Now go sit in the corner

(Leonidas finally heads to the bunkhouse to settle Haelga's debt)

Haelga: It's you! Please, don't hurt me!

Leonidas: Relax, I'm not here to brawl. I just want to talk

(Haelga breathes a sigh of relief)

Haelga: That's good to hear

Leonidas: I believe you already know how this works

Haelga: I know who you are. You've been terrorizing the people of this city. But there's no need for that here. I even have the payment

Leonidas: Good

(Leonidas goes to grab the bag of coins, but Haelga snatches it away)

Haelga: I'll give it to you... but only after you give it to me~

Leonidas: All you had to do was ask~

(Leonidas leans in and kisses Haelga, which she accepts and wraps her arms around Leonidas's shoulders)

(Leonidas continues to kiss Haelga, and he puts his hands on her hips and slowly moves them lower, and then grabs the coin bag)

(Leonidas then headbutts Haelga, knocking her out, with the bag of coins in his hand)

Leonidas: Begone, treacherous one

(Soon, at the ragged flagon)

Brynjolf: So, the job's done and you brought the gold. Best of all, you did it clean. I like that

Leonidas: Here's what they owed us

Brynjolf: Well done. And it would seem I owe you something in return. Here you go. I think you'll find these quite useful

(Brynjolf hands Leonidas a couple of potions)

Leonidas: Alright, what's next?

Brynjolf: Judging from how well you handled those shopkeepers, I would say you've done more than simply prove yourself. We need people like you in our outfit

Leonidas: As long as there's more gold where that came from, I'm in

Brynjolf: That's the spirit! Larceny's in your blood. The telltale sign of a practiced thief

Leonidas: Well... I'm no stranger to thievery

Brynjolf: I think you'll do more than just fit in around here

Leonidas: Before we go, I have to ask you a question

Brynjolf: What's on your mind?

Leonidas: Word is the thieves guild isn't doing too well. Is this true?

Brynjolf: We've run into a rough patch lately, but it's nothing to be concerned about. You keep making us coin, and I'll worry about everything else. Fair enough?

Leonidas: Fair enough

Brynjolf: Now if there are no more questions, follow me and I'll show you what we're all about

(Leonidas follows Brynjolf into the thieves guild headquarters)
