(Leonidas wipes out a group of bandits to charge the ebony blade and is looking through their loot chest)

Leonidas: Hmm... What's this?

(Leonidas finds Merida's beacon)

Merida: A new hand touches the beacon. Listen. Hear me and obey. A foul darkness has seeped into my temple. A darkness that you will destroy. Return my beacon to Mount Kilkreath. And I will make you the instrument of my cleansing light

Leonidas: Mount Kilkreath it is then

(Leonidas glides to mount Kilkreath and finds a statue of Merdia)

Merdia: A new supplicant approaches. And I see you have my beacon with you. Give me the beacon, and great shall be your reward. Look at my temple lying in ruins. So much for the constancy of mortals, their crafts and hearts

(Leonidas places the beacon onto the statue and begins to fly into the air)

Merida: It is time for my splendor to return to Skyrim. But the token of my truth lies buried in the ruins of my once great temple. It is now tainted by a profane darkness that is now skittering within. The necromancer Malkoran defiles my shrine with vile corruptions. Trapping lost souls left in the wake of his war to do his bidding. Worse still, he uses the power stored within my own token to fuel his foul deeds. I have brought you here, mortal, to be my champion. You will enter my temple, retrieve my artifact, and destroy the defiler

Leonidas: Tell me more about this artifact

Merida: Mortals call it the dawnbreaker. For it was forged in a holy light that breaks upon my foes, burning away corruption and false life. You will enter my shrine, destroy Malkoran, and retrieve this mighty blade

Leonidas: Very well. I'll do it

Merida: Of course you will. I have commanded it. Go now, for the artifact must be reclaimed, and Malkoran must be destroyed. Malkoran has forced the doors shut. But this is my temple, and it responds to my decree. I will send down a ray of light. Guide this light through my temple, and its doors will open for you

(Merida releases her grip on Leonidas, so he glides back down to the ground)

(Leonidas enters Kilkreath temple and starts to explore it, but he eventually finds a pedestal with a beam of light shining onto it)

Leonidas: I'm guessing this is what she meant by guide the light through the temple

(Leonidas adjusts the pedestal, making the ray of light bounce off and hit some other crystals and go deeper into the temple)

(Leonidas follows the ray of light through the temple, and he finds some corrupted spirits)

(He swings his sword at the spirit, but it goes straight through, and he gets stabbed in the chest by a ghostly blade)

Leonidas: OW!

(Leonidas runs back to the beam of light and waits for the corrupted spirit to pass through. When it does, it gets extinguished by the light)

(Leonidas uses a healing spell to bind his wound)

Leonidas: Physical attacks are useless. I'm going to have to become ethereal. FEIM ZII GRON!

(Leonidas becomes ethereal and uses his sword to extinguish the rest of a group of corrupted spirits)

(He then adjusts another crystal, making the light go even further into the temple)

(A few more corrupted spirits are heading towards Leonidas)

Leonidas: YOL TOOR SHUL!

(He uses blue spirit fire to extinguish the corrupted spirits)

(Leonidas continues to fight his way past the corrupted spirits while adjusting crystals to make the beam of light go further into the temple. He uses the skeleton key to unlock any locks)

(Leonidas sneaks up to a doorway and sees a figure in black mage robes casting a spell with his back turned)

Leonidas: That must be Malkoran. WULD NAH KEST!

(Leonidas rushes forward with the speed of a tempest while holding his blade out)

Malkoran: Uhh...

(Leonidas summons Merida's beacon and throws it at Malkoran)

Merida: A NEW FACE TOUCHES THE BEACON

(Malkoran's top half falls off, and the rest of the corrupted spirits fade away)

(The beacon goes back to Merida's statue)

(With blood as powerful as Malkoran's on the ebony blade, a black aura surrounds Leonidas's ebony mail again)

Leonidas: What the-?

(Leonidas is able to transform himself into a figure made of black smoke with glowing eyes)

Leonidas: I might have to experiment with this later on

Merida: It is done. The defiler is defeated. Take the dawnbreaker from it's pedestal

(Leonidas takes a sword with a magic core on it from a pedestal as he rises into the air again from Merida's magic)

Merida: Malkoran is vanquished. Skyrim's dead shall remain at rest. This is as it should be. This is because of you. A new day is dawning. And you shall be it's herald. Take the mighty dawnbreaker with you, and purge the corruption from the dark corners of the world. Weild it in my name, so that my influence may grow

Leonidas: I will wield this mighty blade in your name

Merida: May the light of certitude guide your efforts

(Merida once again releases her grip of Leonidas, letting him glide to the ground)

(Leonidas rips out the core from the dawnbreaker sword and fuses it with the ebony blade. This sword is the result)
